This is a very good restaurant to take anyone but a true foodie. The dining room is fantastic. It is set well-away from the bar and the street. Tables are large enough, and spaced well apart. Service is what is expected at a moderate to upscale restaurant-- help;ful and courteous without bein in your face. It was perfect. . The menu uis a nice balance between standard offerings and dishes nuique to this restaurant. The wine list is excellent, with a good balance of price and style. It is heavy on red wines, especially (as one owuld expent) on Barolo. But one can hardly go wrong with any Nebbiolo-vase wine! The ingredients were of high quality and prepared perfectly. Prices were very fair, both for food and drinks. This is a great restaurant to eat in, top to take guests. My only concern is that it was perhaps half-full on a Thursday night. Please, please come, so it stays open! Between the food and the value, this should be a go-to place for many!Q

We went there on a Thursday night - very pleasantly surprised. Thought the food was really good. Service, too. Only not-so-positive was that it was a little louder than I would have liked - not the patrons but the room itself. Next time I'll try the outdoor area.

The restaurant is lovely. The food was very good. The service was excellent. The noise level was beyond yelling. My husband and I were at a tiny table and had to yell through our entire meal. There were a select few around us that were the problem. The place was not full. If I w1as the proprietor, I would work out a training program for all staff in how to encourage patrons to use their inside voices. Three women sitting throughout the restaurant made our evening memorable in a bad way. The hard surfaces don't help, to be sure, but when these people who were screaming were chewing their food, the noise level was tolerable. We made our reservation for the patio, which would have been lovely, too. I asked for the patio through open table and when asked if it was a special occasion, I mentioned our anniversary. No mention of our anniversary. When I asked about the patio, I was told it was full. It would have been worth waiting for. I made our reservations long ago and not sure how they prioritize their seating, but was a disappointment. I would probably go again but insist on a quieter section. If the weather is okay, sitting outside is the way to go!

I had veal piccata, a mixed greens salad, apple strudel made in house and coffee. All were fresh and delicious. The service was good and we were not rushed.Definitely coming back!!!! Love it every time better and better.

Meh. Just meh 🫤 Saturday night in May, not too busy, not quiet, but all seemed just a bit too much trouble for the Barolo team. Food was nice (very) but service ‘weary’ and wine was completely forgotten even when we hastened/chased (eventually came post meal - cost waived at Barolo insistence). Overall, just a bit perfunctory: We all have off days, perhaps this was one of theirs. Give them a go, as I say, food was nice, hopefully your experience will be better than mine.

Absolutely delightful experience through and through. Very welcoming and professional service, beautiful and intimidate and quiet dining setting, excellent wine list, the calamari and arugula salads were superb starters, the pappardelle pasta was delicious, the red snapper special was sooo much food and delicious, and the tiramisu was among if not THE best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and top notch service. Everything was cooked perfectly. Dinner was phenomenal and the staff was amazing. Our waiter sent over a complimentary round of cocktails and the maitre’d followed it up with delicious limoncello. We had a lovely evening and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Such a welcoming restaurant where the owner/manager took time out to chat and then thank us for coming. As soon as we walked in there was a great buzz in the place, every plate looked incredible and the choice of specials was great. It took us a while to work out what we wanted the most! When it did arrive I had the best scallops I’ve ever tasted and the mains were delicious. Price was reasonable too. Worth a visit for sure!

Birthday dinner for my wife (made comment on reservation), no acknowledgement of her birthday. Service was nice enough, just not good. Waited forever for our lemon tart dessert, actually had to ask if it was coming, they had forgotten, no apology. Tart was barely lemon. Now my special stuffed veal chop was amazing, although a bit pricey at $64, but really really good. If service was better, would have rated this a bit higher. My wife’s raviolis were just average.

A favorite for myself and two long time friends who get together in NYC a few times a year. Staff is so accomodating, no rushing us through our meal, wine list and food are excellent. Relaxed setting. Perfect place to catch up and enjoy a wonderful meal!

Had dinner during busy conference week with work colleagues - restaurant was packed for a Tuesday night! Food was excellent - the apps were delicious and everyone loved their meals. Only issues were the atmosphere (VERY loud due to building acoustics) and the service was slow due to the number of tables. Overall a good experience, particularly if they are less busy.

What a lovely restaurant! The food was delicious. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly. They go out of the way to make sure you enjoy your evening. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Outstanding dining experience. Greeter was friendly and welcoming. Bartender was quick and helpful. Servers were attentive. Food was excellently prepared and presented.
