Amazing experience here! We had the sautéd mushrooms, pomodoro with spaghetti and the gnocchi. The flavours were spectacular! The service was also very top notch. Loved that we were able to have a great dinner at 10pm. I’ll be back for sure to try more dishes.

This one of our favorite neighborhood restaurant the food it’s always amazing authentic Italian the service it’s first class and the restaurant has a charming atmosphere in short. It like a visit to Italy without going to Italy.

I absolutely love the consistency at Barolo East. From the food to the service to the ambience, it’s great all around. The best Italian in midtown east hands down.

Was looking forward to a nice Italian meal with the family. Disappointed in the food quality and service. Asked for recommendations for cocktails and mocktails and they seemed annoyed and couldn’t think of anything nor had a menu for cocktails. Ordered the special lobster ravioli and it was too salty and fishy. Sauce was very plain. Servers just seemed bothered to assist us with anything. Would not return.

We love this restaurant but have to say on a weekend it can get very noisy so be prepared. The food is very good sometimes outstanding. The backyard garden can get a good choice on a rainless night

Absolutely EVERYTHING was top notch. A varied Italian menu; all sounding wonderful. This was one of the few times dining out where I wanted to order all of the appetizer and dinner specials. The veal chop martini, an entree, nitro and drink was huge and flavorful. My dining companion thoroughly enjoyed her branzino…both were specials that night. The wines-by-glass was especially extensive, but enough selections at different price points made it just fine. Prices are commensurate with NYC fine dining. It ran $250 for 4 alcoholic drinks, 2 (special) appetizers, and 2 (special) entrees…did not regret one dollar spent. Highly recommend!

A charming restaurant with traditional service and a nice unhurried pace. The food was quite good (we all had salads and pasta). The wine list is extensive but quite expensive - be prepared to pay $70 or more for a bottle.
