Amazing food and excellent service! One of the nicest Italian Restaurants I have ever been to since arriving in Sydney. Great atmosphere and very welcoming from start to finish. Could not recommend here enough & will definitely be back!!!

It was okay if you want whole eggplant deep fried Just thrown onto a plate, then it’s the place to go . They should get a new chef someone that cares about cooking. I tried nearly everything on the menu and everything stayed on the plate . Not even worth takeaway which is upsetting. Had to go to McDonald’s to have dinner after there. Hopefully the owner changes the chef. Because the place has potential . Such a shame the waiters and the service is amazing but the food is a big letdown such careless way to serve food on a plate. Lazy I knew from the minute I smelt the table napkins and the dirt marks all over them.

The food was excellent. We had the kingfish and zuchinni flowers to start both were fabulous. Followed by the ragu and the barra. Will come back soon. Staff were amazing and very freindly

Absolute rip off. Food totally overpriced and a shocking disgrace. The "pizza" was disgusting. Two tiny sections of a brioche bun with some tomato sauce and microwave melted cheese for $25. A three year old at a kindi cooking class could have done better. $ 70 for a steak? Who do they think they are to try get away with such cynical fare. No wonder the place was less then half full on a saturday night. Will definitely not be returning.

Delicious food , tasty and fresh. Cocktails are hard to resist too. Aside from it being a bit noisy it’s such a wonderful location to enjoy a meal anytime of day . Love it

This was my third time dining at Barmilano. Fabulous location, food is amazing and staff are friendly. It’s just what Maroubra needed. Definitely worth going to!

Food and service were impeccable. I ordered a cocktail with ingredients I've not had before, thought I'd try something new, had one sip and discovered I didn't like it. They did not charge me for it! Amazing.

In overall it was a very good experience, nice place with great service. The desert it wasn't alright, in my point of view it was expensive and at the same time not too good in terms of flavour. However, it is just my opinion, I really liked being there and I hope backing to the restaurant soon. Thank you

Fantastic food and ambiance. Great service. It’s the only nightspot really in Maroubra. Apart from pubs and the club. It has a holiday feel. Great cocktails.

I adore this Italian oasis at Maroubra beach. Dropping in for delicious drinks at the bar or a gorgeous meal is always a highlight after a day at the beach

The restaurant was quiet both in noise level and clientel as it was a Sunday. The seating outside at the rear was good. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering good advice. The food arrived quite quickly and was very tasty. We enjoyed our meal and would recommend to our friends.

Over priced, $263 one starter. 2 small mains 1 desert , 3 gin and tonics!!, they should wear masks when they give you the bill, bandits !

Lovely Italian menu that lends itself to sharing. Thee of us tried the burrato with heirloom tomatoes (stand-out dish) , stuffed zucchini flowers (delish), calamari (tender but under seasoned), prawns (overcooked and under seasoned) , melon and prosciutto (as expected, generous portion). It really needs a couple of salads on the menu. The bread is warm and the cocktails are delicious. We were too full for more than a shared chocolate and caramel tart, which was the perfect ending and not overly sweet. Floorboards, Italian pop music that was not background level and exposed walls made for some difficulty in hearing each other across the table. All this for $200 was good value and service. Overall, I like it and I would return. Very close to 5 stars.

Beautiful clean restaurant. Menu however not to my likings. Not a great variety and a bit overpriced for small servings. Couldn't find anything on menu inviting.

I had Christmas lunch at Bar Milano with family visiting from overseas and we were all blown away with the incredible food, well-paced scheduling and general all-round excellence. Staff were exceptional and we were most grateful for their kindness and impeccable service. I will definitely return again soon and recommend to everyone, particularly those with a special occasion or looking to host visitors. 10/10 to the whole team, thank you.

Incredibly helpful staff, delicious food with lots of gluten free options and a great location! Cocktails were great! We sat outside at the back of the restaurant in a quiet & cool spot.
