Barley & Boar is a cozy boutique pub located in downtown Atascadero. We distill our own liquor, brew our own beer, and craft our own delicious fare from fresh and local ingredients. Dinner is full service, and our bar is open until midnight.

Sat at the chefs counter, Chef Cordell was very attentive and offered great suggestions, overall the food was fantastic with a nice casual vibe

I can’t rave enough about this restaurant! The food quality and preparation is fantastic. We had appetizers, cocktails, mains, and dessert and every course was delightful. The wait staff was also very attentive and obviously excited about the menu. So thankful to have this restaurant in Atascadero!

This Restaurant is off the chart. The food, Craft Beers and service were amazing I had the iberico ploma and it was crazy good. My hats off to Chef Cordell and his team.

We came to Barley and Boar in a party of 10. Celebrating a few different things! I was worried that was too many people in a reservation for such a small place but they handled it very well. Service was prompt and very efficient. All the dishes came out at the same time and they even allowed us to split the checks. The food was hot and fresh, everyone enjoyed it. Pretty noisy but did not bother us. Will definitely return!

Love the simple fresh menus, we've been here twice now. The drinks are just delightful with their very thoughtful taste combinations. I've had pork there two different ways and both were the best I've ever had. One of the pork dishes you would swear was a very tender steak! We brought friends this time who were first timers and everyone loved everything we ordered. So happy for this addition to our local options!

Had another super delicious dinner! Lucky enough to sit at the Chef’s bar and it made the best dining experience. So fun watching the Chef and his crew create such unique and scrumptious entrees. This is the very best restaurant in town! Happy hour from 9 pm to midnight. Highly recommend!
