I had the most wonderful experience at Barking Dog Hell’s Kitchen. All the staff members were very kind and attentive. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict, it was cooked excellent! I had the Pawsome cocktail and for sure it was awesome. Thank you Barking Dog for making my experience as always ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect dinner at this great restaurant. Tucked in a beautiful plaza in Hells Kitchen. Service on point and food simple and tasty. Definitely going back.

So very disappointed! With so many wonderful reviews, we expected this restaurant to be a real winner for Sunday brunch. When we arrived, we were shown to a table. After ten minutes, we had to flag down a waiter and ask for water and menus. Ten more minutes and we had to flag down a waiter to ask for coffee. And you guessed it, fifteen more minutes passed and we asked a passing waiter if someone could take our order. They were very friendly but incredibly disorganized. You could see four waitpersons clustered around the kitchen chatting and one waiter busing tables...but no one actually waiting on tables! The food was ok probably because it was all cold (who likes cold Eggs Benedict and pancakes???). I think it would have been pretty good if it had been served hot (or even warm!). With so many great choices in NYC, I don't know why this restaurant has such high ratings.

This restaurant site claims to be the number one in being friendly with dogs and during our visit we feel the opposite. Food is nothing special. And in the cocktail, the damaged strawberries gave it a bad taste. Flies inside the restaurant in the windows near the tables. It really wasn’t a good experience.

Since it was a beautiful day, we dined outside, which is the best way to experience the Barking Dog. Although, in typical NY fashion, there was a jack hammer blasting the entire time! There were some issues with our drinks — the iced tea doesn’t taste freshly brewed and their espresso roast is pretty weak. The eggs and sausage were good, but pretty basic. And, the Cobb Salad was very nice & ample portion. We’d probably go again — just us — if the weather was good. And, it’s very helpful that they accept reservations. Overall, the waitstaff was very friendly & professional.
