Bargello®, located in the Hotel Arras, is named after the 17th century Florentine needlepoint style. The intricacy of this stitch embodies the restaurant weaving together their love for community, cuisine, and hospitality to create the ultimate casual fine dining experience.

Bargello's culinary team draws their inspiration from the flavors you experience when traveling along the Mediterranean coastline. Seasonal and locally sourced dishes include fresh hand-rolled pastas, house-made breads, and innovative cuisine from Executive Chef Tyler Slade. Bargello’s menu changes often to reflect the local produce available in Western North Carolina.

My wife and I went for our anniversary and her birthday. We had an amazing time. They served us complimentary champagne and the chef made us a special order of the mussels since it called for saffron cream sauce and my wife has an allergy to saffron. Our main entrees were delicious and the portions were large. My wife had the pork tenderloin and I had the Cioppino. Chloe our server was amazing. Definitely a place to go.

Brunch was very good and they were able to easily accommodate one of our diners dietary restrictions. Service was professional and friendly.

This beautiful restaurant is located inside the Kimpton Arras in Asheville. The decor is modern and impressive, the service very professional and the food superb. The 1/2 price wine on Wednesdays was also a nice bonus!

We had a fabulous Mother's Day Celebration lunch at Bargello. The staff is welcoming. Our server was friendly and upon request made the best recommendations. The special menu had wonderful selections. The Avocado Toast and Shrimp and Grits could not have been better. The creme brulee,, which we brought home, was perfect. We even received chocolate covered strawberries with the most reasonable check.

Mother’s Day brunch. Food and service were excellent. Pricing was fixed per person for this three course meal, and resulting cost was as expected.

Bargello remains a complete mystery to me. In the last 3 years I have stayed annually at the Kimpton Asheville and had breakfast there once each year. The first year it was excellent, the second year it was mediocre, and this past visit it was awful and essentially inedible. Breakfast need not be over complicated. Please redo the menu focussing on edible and delightful. On a positive note, the fresh orange juice was fresh and delicious. What followed was very disappointing and heavily oversalted, which was true of the fried eggs, the sausage patty and the avocado toast. The coffee was tasteless. The server was professional and helpful but good service cannot make up for abject failures in the kitchen.

Great food. Poor service. There was spoiled cheese on our charcuterie board. I know this specific cheese and when I mentioned this to our server she said “ it’s just a very stinky cheese”. It was spoiled!!! Our service was so slow. Food was excellent! Great location.

Excellent service from the time we walked in the door. The person who seated us was friendly and informative. Our server was prompt and courteous and did not remove empty plates until ALL of us were finished. That's rare just about everywhere in Asheville. I had the ravioli which was delicious but could have been hotter. My friend had the duck and she licked her plate!! All in all, a very positive experience.
