Nestled in the heart of Johnston, Rhode Island, our newly opened Italian restaurant invites you on a culinary journey that celebrates the artistry of thin crust artisanal pizza. Signature dishes include Spaghettoni alla Carbonara with guanciale and a farm fresh egg, the Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Bucatini al' Amatriciana. Bar Lino has unique Italian wines from small boutique Italian winemakers. Our approach to wine is accessibility, quality and variety to encourage unfettered enjoyment. Our bar features beers on tap, cocktails, and a large selection of classic Italian amari, grappa and many other Italian liqueurs.

Bar Lino is a great spot with plenty of parking. The food is top-notch, and the servers are exceptional. Each member of our party enjoyed their meal of choice. We are already making plans to return.

It was a great experience, our waiter was excellent, the food was great. Live music on Thursday, the drinks were great, the had a birthday table waiting for us. The only thing missing was maybe a free dessert because it was my husband’s birthday. But it was such a pleasant experience, we will definitely be back.

Excellent service, great atmosphere and if you have any type of gluten allergy, some of the best gluten food plus menu available in the area for me and my wife! Very accommodating.

Food tastes good but wait time was long. Appetizer was the calamari, came out fast but barely any calamari, mostly arugula. Entrees were ok after almost 35 min wait.

Gluten free separate menu, rare these days. I had GF short rib on the bone with fingerling potatoes (comes with polenta and I substituted potatoes); short rib was excellent, tender and tasty. Also had gluten free bread. My husband had regular crab ravioli with regular bread. They cook the bread fresh but there is a substantial delay for the regular bread it doesn't come out before meal is served. GF Menu had a large amount of GF and regular pizza, which we didn't try this time. There was also gluten free Gnocchi with mozzarella and tomato sauce; I would have tried a half order but they did not offer half orders, the full order was $24. The short rib was tasty. The entrees are delicious, would like to see a small house salad included with the entrees. For dessert I had GF lemon ricotta cheesecake with blueberries, strawberries, and whipped cream, it was absolutely delicious. My GF items were served with an allergy flag which prevents being served the wrong item. I plan to try the GF gnocchi another time or maybe for takeout. Overall a great spot for celiacs; there were also many families dining with kids.

This is a brand new restaurant in Johnston. Completely remodeled, and beautiful addition to the area. Excellent service, food and ambiance. You won't be disappointed. Check their reviews, all five stars and I agree.
