Number 64 in The World's 50 Best Bars 2022 extended list and 45 in North America's 50 Best Bars, Brujas is a cocktail bar located in the legendary Casa de las Brujas -Witches' House- in populous Roma Norte neighborhood, which gets its name from its peaked roof that resembles a witch's hat. Its all-women staff makes special concoctions with natural ingredients and herbs based on powerful women who have been deemed as witches.

Sat at the bar, bartenders were great. Amazing drinks and food. The whole place was a vibe.

We were super excited to try Las Brujas after finding them on World’s Best 50 Discovery. For CDMX, nearly $15 USD drinks require amazing execution. First, the bartender was making 14 drinks at a time; dripping one drink type into another and letting the drinks become diluted while focusing on other drinks. A drink made by mistake was put in the fridge for later (hopefully for staff not a paying customer). Crunchy cookie like garnishes were dropped into the drink by accident, retrieved and placed back on the rim of the glass. Cocktails were not balanced and tasted like amateur hour at a movie theater. Seeing an amazing theme of female empowerment mixed with dark magic executed so poorly was beyond disappointing. Definitely not worth a stop.

I love going to Las Brujas when they have a bar takeover event. The environment is welcoming and you get to experience cocktail flavors from around the world.

Brujas es sin lugar a dudas uno de los mejores bares de CDMX. Las música y ambiente son increíbles, los tragos son espectaculares y las chicas son atentas y muy agradables como hosts.

The energy in Brujas is what stood out the most during the visit there. The playlist was jamming. The energy with the patrons was amazing. The bartenders provided amazing service and well balanced cocktails. Can't recommend it enough!
