Please join us at Bar Cecil for a delightful evening. We welcome parties of 5 or fewer guests (limited space for parties of 5). Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate larger parties.

We book tables for 2 hours. Last dinner orders are taken at 9 pm and we close the bar at 10 pm. We've gone cashless and happily accept credit and debit cards.

Due to our small size, tables with separate reservations can not be combined. Please reserve online; if OpenTable is not showing availability, we're fully booked or it is more than 30 days out. We accept reservations up to 30 days out. Our bar is always walk-in and we open at 5 pm (the bar list is usually full around 4:30 pm).

Thank you Tony for taking great care of my girlfriends and I. The service was great. The food was OK I say this because my chicken was good but I had to take my time eating it was warm inside and almost felt under done. I usually get the steak and frites but decided to venture out and the plan failed. Somehow the food was lackluster vs. Other times I've gone. I feel like I disappointed my friends. Again the service was great drinks were good and we were having fun so I tried to over look it. But after waking up with a stomach ache I should've said something. Our artichoke and rolls were delicious and hot when they got to the table so I do want to make it clear it was just the chicken dish that was a solid 7out of 10.

I was worried Bar Cecil wouldn’t live up to the hype, but it really does have everything you could want from a special dining experience. It took us FOREVER to finally get a reservation here, but the upside to their crowd control tactics is that you can almost be assured that you won’t have to endure a bachelorette party while dining here. And once we scored our reservation, the team was exceptionally nice about adjusting our reservation to accommodate our updated travel plans. Whoever owns this place obviously loves creating an atmosphere of elevated hospitality. The physical interior is an absolute gem. The staff has a very welcoming and professional vibe. I think Bar Cecil would do well in any major city, so Palm Springs is very lucky to have it. Despite all the sparkle and charm, Bar Cecil is surprisingly casual, so you don’t need to worry about it being overly formal or stuffy. And yes, maybe you could stretch your dinner out to two hours, but we were in and out in an hour and a half, which seemed fine. The food isn’t going to change your life or open your eyes, but it is delicious and well-prepared, with a menu having enough variety to satisfy just about any palate. The cocktails are delicious, a little on the small side and a bit skimpy on the booze, but this didn’t impact my enjoyment at all. Most menu items are surprisingly reasonable, with a few exceptions that are outrageously expensive. But you can avoid breaking the bank and still have a perfectly satisfying meal. Just pay attention to the menu prices and add-on prices (e.g. steak frites, $39 … steak frites w filet mignon, $69). Bottom line: What’s not to like? I recommend!

Always wonderful Glad the halibut is back, even if the portion seems small - I was disappointed that I couldn’t get a decaf coffee while our friends were having dessert. Otherwise - awesome I sure wish the restaurant would institute some kind of reservation club. Charges $200 or $300, but give us pre- access to reservations. We would love to come more often as locals.

Best Burger in the Coachella Valley !! The Beaton Burger never disappoints, well worth the price and the cocktails are outstanding.
