Please join us at Bar Cecil for a delightful evening. We welcome parties of 5 or fewer guests (limited space for parties of 5). Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate larger parties.

We book tables for 2 hours. Last dinner orders are taken at 9 pm and we close the bar at 10 pm. We've gone cashless and happily accept credit and debit cards.

Due to our small size, tables with separate reservations can not be combined. Please reserve online; if OpenTable is not showing availability, we're fully booked or it is more than 30 days out. We accept reservations up to 30 days out. Our bar is always walk-in and we open at 5 pm (the bar list is usually full around 4:30 pm).

Was lucky enough to get a booking for a double date dinner. Was very excited to check out Bar Cecil. Ordered as follows 1/2 dozen oysters. 4/5. I got a lot of shell in each bite. But overall tasty. Red curry muscles- 5/5. Literally so tasty. Should have ordered a second set as my main entree. Highly recommend Steak Frits- 4/5. Steak was delicious. Fries left to be desired. Not much flavor. Halibut- 3/5. Plating was a bit odd. Fish tasted good. Size for price was a hard pass. Overall the experience was great. I’d say price vs. portion sizing is a bit frustrating. But the food was tasty. Ambiance was great. Very nice restaurant. Would definitely come back. But overall left a bit to be desired after with the first visit.

Absolutely amazing yet again. This time food was 100% great! Flawless service drinks were outstanding. And service was top tier it was properly timed so we didn't have to hang out for 3 hours or more. Thank you!

Consistently wonderful every visit. Friendly, experienced staff make you feel welcomed. I can't have dinner here without ordering the deviled eggs and the Brock, my favorite cocktail in the desert! Thanks to the entire staff for another memorable evening.

Good food but the precious reservation system and snooty maitre de are a bit much for palm springs.

I love this place and it took forever to get a reservation. We had planned on going to take a friend for his 94th birthday. He had never been and we kept telling him how great it was. When I booked the reservation I was asked if we were coming for a special reason and I said for a birthday. And even when we got to the restaurant and they were seating us they asked us whose birthday it was and we told them. So I was just a little disappointed when it came time for dessert and to pay the check they didn’t bring out something for the person having the birthday. I have never been to a restaurant to celebrate a birthday anywhere where they knew someone was having a birthday and didn’t bring out something for the person having a birthday. They have a Lemon tart and a Sunday and even cookies. But not a thing was brought out to celebrate our 94 year old friend. I mean couldn’t you have thrown a cookie on a plate and given him something?! Our bill was over $300.00 so I don’t think a single cookie would be asking too much? Anyway we have always liked it there and we work in the service industry. So we tell people all the time to go there if they can get in. But I don’t know, it just seems they have gotten so busy and so popular that maybe they don’t seem to care so much anymore because they don’t have to. It was just kind of disappointing because we really wanted our friend to have a really great experience there because we had talked it up so much because we loved it so much. And I just think if you asked us why we were coming and you even asked us when we got there who’s birthday it was, it wouldn’t have put you in the poor house to drop a cookie on the table for someone celebrating their 94th birthday with your restaurant. It just seems a little cheap and uncaring on your part considering how much we as customers pay to keep your doors open.

Very disappointing experience there. I own a restaurant outside of Chicago so my expectations may be high but I loved this place the first time that we went there. Wrote a fabulous review because they deserved it. We sat outside this time and this was nothing special. The real issue was the service. There were 3 or 4 people who seemed to be waiting on us but the one main one was checked out. Not friendly. Never said hello or welcome. Brought our first course before our drinks and even the people next to us noticed and commented. Never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Really bad and we were stunned. Food very good but pasta WAY too much pepper. Drinks excellent. No longer my favorite though. Sad as this will catch up with them.

Bar Cecil was fantastic. Our favorite dinner location in our week long trip to Palm Springs. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We have been going to bar Cecil for multiple years. And I continue to amaze us with fantastic food and fantastic service. Highly recommend this place. We highly recommend the deviled eggs, fish relettes and the pork chop. The staff and bartenders are amazing. Plan on getting there early as a book up really fast
