Bao Brewhouse is a multi-concept restaurant, the first floor is known as the Tap Room, in which you will find service via QR codes, WALK-IN'S ONLY, Chinese street food inspired fare and a local rotating draft list.
The second floor is known as our Tea Room, there you will find a more traditional dining experience with a twist. The Tea Room menu and ambiance lend to more curated and intimate affair, with a vast tea selection ranging from herbal to puer, a thoughtfully selected wine list with a tea-centric cocktail program to satisfy even the most adventurous of palates. The Tea room has a DJ every Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday giving the room a not-so-stuffy feeling.

**Please note** Bao Brewhouse holds two separate flights of stairs to enter each of the two dining rooms. The building does NOT have an elevator. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Had a great experience! Went to celebrate our engagement and the staff was so kind. The music was very loud it was hard to hear eachother and the staff but a delicious experience.

Music was to loud to gave a decent conversation with at the table. Drop the volume down a notch so you’re not yelling to have that conversation. Drinks and food took forever to come to your table but once they did they were good.

Great food as always but they took away “all you can eat” dumplings in the tea room on Tuesdays and only do BOGO now. (They’ll also charge you for the most expensive items chosen) The Beef dumplings and soup dumplings were our favorite!

Thank you for your review. We did change up our Tuesday Dumpling special from all you can eat pork and mushroom dumplings to BOGO of any of the dumplings from our menu and it is now available on both floors of our restaurant. We wanted to allow our guest to try every and all of our dumplings without being restricted to only two choices. All of our dumplings are actually the same price for the exception of the Kobe beef dumplings that you enjoyed in the Tea Room. Due to its elevated ingredients, we do charge more for this one dumpling. Rest assured; all the other dumplings are priced equally.

I took my kids here to celebrate Mothers Day. It was as phenomenal as I remember from last time. The mushroom dumplings are incredible!

This is a nice concept, and Denver could use some more stylish, modern Asian places. Menu is well-thought out with nice dim sum options - though our crab sticky rice main had an odd creamy-sweet element that didn’t really work. The big (really big) issue we had was the DJ spinning loud, booming club music - at 6pm. It was nearly impossible to even have a conversation, and our hearts felt like they were going to burst from the throbbing bass lines. Obviously the place is designed for the under-30 crowd, and we get it. We rushed through our meal just to get out of there…perhaps turning tables fast is the goal?

The service and food was amazing. The upstairs room was a little loud but they had a live Dj/music and the vibes were fun if you are down for an experience. For more of a quiet dining experience I recommend sitting down stairs. The food is a bit Pricy but the quality and flavor is great. Our waiter was awesome and gave us a free rabbit glass for the long wait we had for one of our entrees. They go above and beyond here and it’s always great when we go here!

Probably one of the best places we found in Denver. We were a little concerned with the bottom floor but the tea house was where we sat and it was awesome. Great food and the DJ was good!

We have eaten here numerous times. For our two most recent visits Matt was out server in the Tea Room and he does an outstanding job. Thoughtful and inclusive menu and drink recommendations, ample table FaceTime and just overall stellar service. I highly recommend this restaurant and specifically Matt as a server in the Tea Room. We will be back for sure!

Wonderful place for a birthday dinner with friends. Love the booths upstairs in the tea room with the spinning table, made it super easy for sharing food. And you’ll want to share so you can try as many things as possible because the food is amazing!

I recently dined at Bao Brewhouse with a group of friends, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the ambiance seemed promising, the noise level was incredibly high, making it difficult to hold a conversation without shouting across the table. The food was average at best and overpriced for what was served. Although some dishes were decent, they didn't quite justify the hefty price tags. To add to the disappointment, our waiter was inflexible when it came to accommodating our group's request to split checks or do separate checks. This lack of flexibility made the dining experience more stressful than enjoyable. Overall, while there were some positive aspects to the restaurant, the noise level, okay food, and poor service detracted from the overall experience. I’m not dying to go back.

This was my first time at Bao Brewhouse and it did not disappoint. Matt was incredible and navigated our allergies and served up some delicious food! Our favorite dish of the night was the Short Rib Spicy Noodles! The drinks were great too! I will be back.

Tea Room Review: Our server Ashley made the experience subpar, she was inattentive (waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged after flagging down another waiter to ask if someone had our station - it was 5:30pm and only 4 other tables were sat in the Tea room). Ashley was dismissive upon asking if we could order some bao buns from downstairs menu which the hostess told us we could. The Wagu steak dish was completely cold upon arrival and our waitress never came back to see how our food was. I had to go find her, she was on her phone, to tell her the steak dish was cold. I was so excited to try this place for the first time and unfortunately I will not be going back. - Big on the pig: good - cheese ragoons: good - pork belly side: good but dry - short rib spicy noodle: very good - wagu steak: very good warm, truffle sauce excellent Ok experience but overall disappointing.

We went for BOGO Tuesday. We sat up in the TeaRoom and it was a great vibe! They did have a DJ so take note for noise purposes. Both the host and servers were incredible and very attentive! The food came out quick and was all delicious. The only thing is I wish you were able to order from both menus no matter what floor you’re on since it’s all one restaurant!

Very delicious dishes. Dumplings are overpriced unless you come during BOGO. Please bring back the drunken noodles. I don’t appreciate the surprise fees stacked up on my bill.

Came here in a party of three on a Friday night. We had a reservation and were seated right away upstairs when we arrived. It was busy. The tables were full and there was a DJ spinning music. I was a little disappointed in the number of bao options available when it’s in the name. But what we ordered was mostly good. We had the crab Rangoon, char sui bao, lettuce wraps, short rib spicy noodle, and Brussel sprouts. The short rib was my favorite. The service could have been better given how much we were spending (we all ordered alcohol as well). It might be a while before I come back. Lots of places to try and this one was good but didn’t wow me.

We had a great time dining at Bao Brewhouse. We ordered the Big on the Pig potstickers and they’re the best potstickers we’ve ever had. We also got the shishitos & brussels sprouts, Miso Mongolian Steak Fried Rice and the Governor Baozhen vegetarian bowl. I personally got the Governor Baozhen and the mushrooms were delightful! I definitely didn’t even need to add meat to the bowl because the mushrooms and shishitos added bulk to the dish and it was very filling and tasty. Our server, Ashley, was also very kind and attentive. She also gave us detailed drink suggestions since we were undecided on what to order. I will definitely be back!

Ummm this was a nice surprise. Yes, it's a little pricey for dumplings and whatnot, but wow, it was all so delicious. We sat upstairs in the tea room, which has a totally different vibe compared to downstairs. The music was loud, but we liked it and felt the overall environment was great. Our service was also really good. We'll be back for sure, likely on a Tuesday when dumplings are BOGO. I could eat them everyday, I think, and never get bored.

Overpriced for fried food. Was really looking forward to having dim sum but I should have know better based on the photos. Overall it was a stale experience.
