Bao Brewhouse is a multi-concept restaurant, the first floor is known as the Tap Room, in which you will find service via QR codes, WALK-IN'S ONLY, Chinese street food inspired fare and a local rotating draft list.
The second floor is known as our Tea Room, there you will find a more traditional dining experience with a twist. The Tea Room menu and ambiance lend to more curated and intimate affair, with a vast tea selection ranging from herbal to puer, a thoughtfully selected wine list with a tea-centric cocktail program to satisfy even the most adventurous of palates. The Tea room has a DJ every Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday giving the room a not-so-stuffy feeling.

**Please note** Bao Brewhouse holds two separate flights of stairs to enter each of the two dining rooms. The building does NOT have an elevator. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The vegan Kung Pao Shroom Trio was amazing and fast! The waiter was extremely friendly and even put a round of shots on the house for my BF’s Birthday!

We went in with a group of girls on a Saturday evening around 5 and there was a live DJ and the music was house music and blasting. Was really hard to having an enjoyable night with how loud everything was. The food was okay. The fish we didn’t even finish, everyone took a nibble and didn’t want to eat more. We had great n/a drinks though, and our waiter was really great. This place came highly recommended, but we were highly underwhelmed. I want to say I would try it again on a day there wasn’t a live DJ, but honestly, not sure if I would. Would recommend the beef Kobe dumplings and the spicey noddles. Wouldn’t recommend fish or pork.

They were accommodating in making changes to our reservation. 5 stars for that! Music was too loud - distractive for conversation. Food good but 3 out of 5 dishes were too salty making it taste no different and hard to finish. Drink consisted from %90 of ice. If music toned down a little bit and less salt, I would consider coming back!

Delicious! Amazing service. Bogo dumpling night on Tuesdays made for GREAT value. We loved everything but the soup dumplings were our favorite. Everything came out freshly made and steaming hot. They even brought us a little bday treat. The decor is amazing and the DJ was fun but played at a level where we could still talk which was amazing.

I wanted a pint but I could only get a tulip glass of beer. Was too noisy for dining. Better for techno dancing. Food was good. Staff was nice but waiter was a little unattentive.

Food was great. Service was great. Only negative for us was the DJ pumping super loud music that almost made it impossible to have a conversation - not what we enjoy for a fine meal out. Favorite food was the beef dumplings and the short rib noodles

Food was great, servers were great! There were $20 worth of service charges (4 or 5 in total) on our bill which is very annoying- why the consumer has to pay historical property fees and such. So beware and only tip on the food total! Otherwise everything was amazing

Had a great experience! Went to celebrate our engagement and the staff was so kind. The music was very loud it was hard to hear eachother and the staff but a delicious experience.

BAO definitely is not your average restaurant and with our in-house DJs the volume can be louder than usual. We always encourage our guests to advise a team member if they'd like for us to turn it down and we will accommodate. Congrats again on your upcoming nuptials!
