Bao Brewhouse is a multi-concept restaurant, the first floor is known as the Tap Room, in which you will find service via QR codes, WALK-IN'S ONLY, Chinese street food inspired fare and a local rotating draft list.
The second floor is known as our Tea Room, there you will find a more traditional dining experience with a twist. The Tea Room menu and ambiance lend to more curated and intimate affair, with a vast tea selection ranging from herbal to puer, a thoughtfully selected wine list with a tea-centric cocktail program to satisfy even the most adventurous of palates. The Tea room has a DJ every Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday giving the room a not-so-stuffy feeling.

**Please note** Bao Brewhouse holds two separate flights of stairs to enter each of the two dining rooms. The building does NOT have an elevator. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Yummy food. Creative cocktails. Fun atmosphere. Great place to go before a shoe at the DCPA.

Food was great, servers were great! There were $20 worth of service charges (4 or 5 in total) on our bill which is very annoying- why the consumer has to pay historical property fees and such. So beware and only tip on the food total! Otherwise everything was amazing

The food was a little pricey, but the service was very fast, and the ambience in the tea room is very cool!

Had a great experience! Went to celebrate our engagement and the staff was so kind. The music was very loud it was hard to hear eachother and the staff but a delicious experience.

BAO definitely is not your average restaurant and with our in-house DJs the volume can be louder than usual. We always encourage our guests to advise a team member if they'd like for us to turn it down and we will accommodate. Congrats again on your upcoming nuptials! Music was to loud to gave a decent conversation with at the table. Drop the volume down a notch so you’re not yelling to have that conversation. Drinks and food took forever to come to your table but once they did they were good.

Music is definitely something that we highlight here at BAO. All our guests have different preferences when it comes to the music. If you desired the volume a bit lower, we hope you let a team member know so we could easily accommodate. Without the knowledge of your preference, we are unable to provide you with what you are now recommending in this review. Great food as always but they took away “all you can eat” dumplings in the tea room on Tuesdays and only do BOGO now. (They’ll also charge you for the most expensive items chosen) The Beef dumplings and soup dumplings were our favorite!

Thank you for your review. We did change up our Tuesday Dumpling special from all you can eat pork and mushroom dumplings to BOGO of any of the dumplings from our menu and it is now available on both floors of our restaurant. We wanted to allow our guest to try every and all of our dumplings without being restricted to only two choices. All of our dumplings are actually the same price for the exception of the Kobe beef dumplings that you enjoyed in the Tea Room. Due to its elevated ingredients, we do charge more for this one dumpling. Rest assured; all the other dumplings are priced equally.

I took my kids here to celebrate Mothers Day. It was as phenomenal as I remember from last time. The mushroom dumplings are incredible!

This is a nice concept, and Denver could use some more stylish, modern Asian places. Menu is well-thought out with nice dim sum options - though our crab sticky rice main had an odd creamy-sweet element that didn’t really work. The big (really big) issue we had was the DJ spinning loud, booming club music - at 6pm. It was nearly impossible to even have a conversation, and our hearts felt like they were going to burst from the throbbing bass lines. Obviously the place is designed for the under-30 crowd, and we get it. We rushed through our meal just to get out of there…perhaps turning tables fast is the goal?

The service and food was amazing. The upstairs room was a little loud but they had a live Dj/music and the vibes were fun if you are down for an experience. For more of a quiet dining experience I recommend sitting down stairs. The food is a bit Pricy but the quality and flavor is great. Our waiter was awesome and gave us a free rabbit glass for the long wait we had for one of our entrees. They go above and beyond here and it’s always great when we go here!
