Korean Tapas Restaurant. Inspired by traditional Korean cuisine...not traditional Korean cuisine.

The Korean word ‘Bansang’ refers to the style of table setting for the kings and nobles of the Joseon, a Korean dynastic kingdom that prospered for more than five centuries. At Bansang, we wish to serve all of our guests with the same care and sincerity as the chefs did for their royalty in those times past.

Korean fare is built around enjoying various distinctive types of dishes simultaneously rather than in separate courses, as this allows every person to experience continuously changing flavor combinations unique to Korean culture. Our guests can expect a modern, creative perspective on this traditional style of Korean cuisine.

Took a while to get seated and service started off slow. But everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Food was delicious and beautiful

Better for a date night, bad for large parties. Food was great, but expensive for small tapas sizes. Waiters gave horrible advice, said entrees were enough to split between large parties when portions are small. Very difficult to get waiters’ attention and had to ask multiple times for water refills and utensils. Will not be coming back.

The food was just ok. Honestly this place is very overhyped. There was nothing spectacular, or wow how did they get these flavors feeling. No offense, but we’ve had better for remarkably cheaper. It was a one time visit for us. Service was good.

The food was great. The service was efficient. Quick but didn’t feel rushed. This was the quickest dinner we ever had. The pricing is a bit too much for the portions. I compare this restaurant to the same category as rich table. However this is way pricier. Also, would love to see some more wine by the glass options and cocktail options.

Great dishes but most dishes we ordered were on the saltier side. We were not happy with the service unfortunately. They let us order desserts, brought them out , then immediately told us we needed to leave soon cuz there was another reservation waiting. We get that they need to turn the tables, but don’t let us order a bunch of stuff and told us to finish up and get out.

I still don't get it why they assign my family to the corner room that has no other view but the entrance door although the restaurant was empty. The room is so much darker and smaller compared to the main dining area. The main dining area has only two tables taken as we arrived pretty early (5pm), but they still assigned us to the smaller room. By this, I was not able to enjoy the view of the open table of the restaurant but continuously got bothered by the people coming in and out. Also, when we reservation, I wrote down it was my 7th anniversary, but nothing was offered. The waiter did not ask if we want any dessert either. The food was all right but a bit pricy. It was good experience overall, however, I probably won't go again.
