What a racket. I paid $25 per head to have the “experience” - all that means is your guaranteed a table. So a table of six cost me $150 on top of everything else. Service level was average and food was less than average. Won’t be going back.

I’ve eaten at Banners a couple of times, the drinks were pricey and the food was good. Service and atmosphere was perfect for an active sports bar. The problem was the $25 reservation per person. That seemed unnecessary and it was. The people at the next table didn’t pay for a reservation and neither did a guy I knew at the bar. Felt like I was taken advantage of and that soured everything.

started out 5 stars when we got there, down to 3 by the end up to a 4 overall. We drove 3 hours to watch a Bruins game here so I reserved a luxury experience so it would have been worth our day trip. I asked the host where we would be sitting and she said we could pick our seat. We chose upstairs in the middle of the big screen on the glass side. The best viewing experience in our opinion. We sat down and they gave us bruins neck chains and towels to wave. We seemed to be catered to. We were the only ones I think who paid the extra money for the luxury experience because nobody else was given these things. About an hour after we were sitting at our table and the game was just about to begin, the waitress told us they were closing the upstairs balcony in 15 minutes and we had to move downstairs. She says the reservations don't specify whether your sitting upstairs or downstairs online. We were quite upset. I paid $235.00 for the best seats in the house and now they want to close the upstairs because they were not busy enough to keep both levels open. We demanded to speak to the manager. The manager, who came was the same man who originally seated us and gave us game gear. I said he should refund the extra $150 we paid if we had to go downstairs. We paid $75 just for a general reservation and an extra $150 for the luxury reservation for the best view. The manager made it right for us and said we could stay at our table throughout the game. We were the only ones on the entire level. They had a waiter come up and check on us. It was a big disappointment that they would even consider moving us because they were not busy enough to have both levels open. The reason I'm writing a review like this is to warn others that their website does NOT specify what level you will be sitting on and the fact that they can move you at their discretion if they are not busy enough. We hoped to go back once a year to do this but this experience left me questioning if we will again or not.

Very nice place to watch the game, but if they are going to charge you $25 to watch on the big screen, they should make sure nobody is standing over you

There were 4 of us there for a concert, my friend and I and her teen daughter and her friend. Our server uncomfortably stared at two 15 year olds while giving them the drink specials and IPA list. They ordered Shirley Temples and my friend and I ordered maragaritas. When the drinks arrived, there was one margarita. Server said that because we ordered the same thing, he thought we only wanted one. What? Waited and finally got the other one. We ordered our meals. When the runner arrived, he dropped the tray onto the table and onto the drinks which then went all over me completely soaking my clothes. Accidents happen but this was handled so poorly. They brought a couple of napkins. My meal has the wrong side. I ordered a salad with dressing on side and it came either fries (half of which were now all over the floor and were never cleaned up). We told the server, he brings salad but with dressing on it. Ok, whatever, we have a show to get to. A manager never comes over and then the server avoids us the rest of the meal. I am now drenched and angry. Finally, he just brings the bill and tells us he took a drink off. We ask for manager and wait over 10 minutes without someone coming over. We grabbed hostess and she had manager come over immediately. We tell the manager our experience and then he says if I fill out some forms and mail them in, they may reimburse me for dry cleaning. Not apolgetic at all. Says the server said it was just a little spill. I am wearing jeans and a top, I am more concerned that it is cold, I am soaked and have to actually go to a concert this way. He eventually takes another $50 off the bill. All in all, we still paid about $80 for a bad experience. Very cool looking space and fun atmosphere but I wont be back. Lots more of other restaurants near Boston Garden.

First game-day experience at Banners and it didn’t disappoint. Clearly a great spot to be prior to a Celtics game. Food exceeded my expectations.

Had reservations for 6:30 and didn’t get seated until 7:00. Chicken dip was cold. Drinks were good.

We arrived 5 min before our reservation and checked in. We stood beside the host stand for 20 mins, at which point I checked my phone to find I had been text my table was ready 10 mins ago. I went back to the host and let them know I was never told to check my phone. Another 10 mins later we were seated. Service was slow, but the food is better than expected for a sports bar. TV screen is bigger than you have probably ever seen at a bar

Banners was so accommodating for us as a bachelorette party. They easily made sure that we had everything we needed, checked on us frequently.

Place was relatively quiet for a game night, but our service was positively horrendous. We didn’t get what we ordered, the child in our group got her food (a pretzel) 15 minutes after our other food came out and that was only because we asked twice. Not once during our meal did anybody ask how our food was or if we needed anything and we were done eating for 15 minutes before we had to ask for the bill. I will never go to this dump of a restaurant again

Been there twice- food is average at best. Burgers cold fries hot. Turkey club great first time- dry as bone 2nd time. Fun atmosphere and great location if going to game (which we were)

Banners restaurant was simply amazing! Great waitress and staff. Only issue was the Celtics party was not as advertised. Very little interaction with the fans and we could not hear the guest as it was to loud and only one speaker available towards the front.

Banners is a great place to watch a game. Great atmosphere! The food available and the service was amazing. Only thing I wanted more of was more of a selection for the food. Otherwise everything was great.

The drinks and ambience are fine (average), but the food is not very good. Been here many times , they need to make changes. They remain popular for the bar and location, but the food is the worst in the area of the Garden.

Great food drinks and service before a Celtics game at the Garden . So convenient and fun to relax and have a great meal and drinks and catch all kinds of sports on the great TVs before an event at TD Garden !

Service was horrible. We had reservations and still didn’t see a waiter for over 30 minutes. He brought water then disappeared for another 15 minutes. Pizza was cold and soggy

Great experience ! I was nervous with the seating arrangement that we wouldn’t be sat at the reservation time or be taken care of and I was wrong. Server was awesome & food was way better than I expected! We will be back for sure

Service and atmosphere were amazing! I can’t remember our servers name unfortunately, but he was so attentive, patient, and calm on a clearly very busy night. The food was good, we had some steak tips that were slightly over cooked but no complaints otherwise. We left full and happy and felt we paid fairly for the food and service we received.

Absolutely amazing place to dine if you’re a sports lover. Had a front view of the ginormous tv for the bruins vs panthers game. If you can’t get to the real games, this is the next best thing. The energy is amazing and so is the food. Will definitely be coming back here!

I was disappointed in the quality of the food. I got the pot belly chicken sandwich and it was very dry like it had been sitting around. We had to ask the wait staff to clear the table and they did not look busy, just slowly walking around. The TV screens are large but tables blocked our view. We won’t be going back.

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is fun, overall a great time! Our waitress however was MIA most of the time, despite the restaurant not being very busy. She went 30 minute periods without checking on us, and was nowhere to be seen on the floor.

The location is ideal for anyone going to an event at the Garden. Atmosphere was nice and very large. Hostesses ignored us when we approached, not friendly or welcoming, our server was nice but the food was eh. Again, you go there for an app or a few drinks before an event but the food was overpriced and not worth the money.
