The special of the night linguini with shrimp ordered by 2 guests had to returned. Shrimp were not edible. Restaurant did have an appetizer delivered quickly but we will not be back.

Our diner at Ballo was enjoyable. Service was excellent. I would have enjoyed the daily special if there was a different offering. Ballo is always our first choice when visiting Mohegan Sun.

Great atmosphere, and overall, we had a great time. 4 of us for Mother's Day dinner. I am used to NYC restaurants, so that's what I'm comparing it to. I guess for a casino, it's good. I'm not sure. I was really looking forward to the Frito Misto. It was not fried correctly and was extremely soggy. For $22, it was supposed to come with scallops, artichokes, calamari, and peporonchini. It only came with calamari. It was not edible, so we sent it back. The manager was great. He apologized and took it off the bill. He was very professional, and we appreciated it that. My Mom got the filet for over $50, and I expected it better. She ordered medium rare, it came out medium and the steak was nit seasoned properly...idk, we weren't impressed. Also, my pasta dish was way over cooked, almost like dried out. I got the black pasta seafood dish...it was also over $50 and not worth it. I didn't complain because I didn't feel like ruining the night but we probably won't be back....we'll, maybe for drinks. The service was fantastic and the drinks were great. I didn't like that the bread was $10....it was delicious but should be included. The chicken parm was OK, I've had better....maybe it was a busy night? It is a great atmosphere so I would be happy to go back for an app & drink.

Food was excellent and service even better. Scott at the bar is terrific. We always celebrate my wife's birthday at Ballo because they always make you feel special. The food is authentic Italian and the service makes me feel like I'm in Italy. They are the best. .

Another great meal and service at Ballo. Celebrating Mother’s Day early with my hubby. Aiden was our server and he was fanastic! Great personality too! We ordered a lot just because we were starving! lol Bread, frito misto, special summer salad, eggplant and veal parm dishes. Skipped the pasta and ordered mushrooms and broccolini. Delicious wine and moscato! All delicious esp the salad!! Thank you again!

Upscale dining at the casino at a slightly lower price point than the other upscale eating establishments. Made it much easier to take my family here. Service was fantastic and food was delicious!

As always the food was delicious! Per our usual, we started off with the black truffle Mac n cheese which is always fantastic! We also had the meatballs which were ok. I went with the sow isl shrimp oreganata with linguine which was outstanding! Absolutely delicious!! I love dining at Ballo. Our waiter & waitstaff were extremely attentive and very friendly! 5 stars all around!!

The last couple times I’ve come here, The food has been really good, but this time not so much. Calamari Mista didn’t have very much calamari at all, and the muscle still stayed down the scallop. The pasta dish that I had looked like it was thrown together and had no taste. This was the vodka sauce pasta. Need more variety on the pasta.

Ethan was a wonderfully nice and attentive server this evening. We shared the antipasti app, whipped ricotta app, the primavera pasta, and tiramisu. All was wonderful and tasty! Would return!

This is a very nice restaurant when you want a quiet dinner. We come here for the food and the ambiance. If you’re looking for a restaurant to celebrate an event this is certainly the one for you.

We have dined at Ballo’s many times since it opened at Mohegan sun but the food this time was not as good as it normally was. The chicken piccata was very tough The eggplant parmigiana was not as good as it usually has been Their menu has also changed and items they use to offer are no longer on the menu. They have changed their bread which was very good for new bread/rolls that are not as good as previous bread. The service was excellent

Service was top notch. Our waiter was on top of everything, friendly, and honestly could not have been better. The fritto Misti appetizer was good, but the breading was very mushy. Kind of like it was either fried at too low of a temperature or was sitting around for a bit. The whipped ricotta with mortadella and pistachio pesto was very good. My wife liked her Campanella alla vodka, which actually had bits of prosciutto in it, something a lot of places skip. I had the sausage with spinach and pomodoro. The sauce was a bit thin and kind of bland. The sausage was supposed to be spicy, but it really had no kick. A little disappointing. Dessert was tiramisu. Good flavor, but definitely used whipped cream for the filling. Mostly tasted chocolate and powder sugar, not so much the espresso. Didn’t expect too much going in - just needed to grab a bite before a show. A little expensive for what we got (quantity and quality), but not totally unexpected for the inside of a casino.

Came to celebrate a wedding anniversary! Too dark to appreciate the presentation of a dish!! I had the special recommended to me by our waiter. The dish had roasted Brussel sprouts that were so tough I had to remove them from the dish, leaving me with the raviolis in their sauce. For the price of our food, it was not worth the try. We will not be back!

Really nice dinner. Had the chicken picatta. A little dry and not what I am used to but tasty. My cousin had the salmon and said it was delicious. No dessert. House Chardonnay very nice .

Food was very average for the price. We had the fritti misto and bread for the appetizers. The calamari was overcooked and I could taste was the fryer. The bread did not taste fresh. For entrees we had the Salmon and Veal Milanese. The salmon was a dry and the veal had the same fryer taste as the calamari. Our server was very good and well spoken. The busser poured an entire bottle of San Pelligrino into two glasses when bringing it to the table. When ordering the second bottle of San Pelligrino I asked the busser to just leave the bottle and let us pour it and after some back and forth of him saying he had to I just took it from him. For dessert we had the chocolate cake which was very good. The salted caramel gelato was a nice combination.

Love Ballo. I was totally shocked to find bread was no longer provided at this Italian restaurant. It is now added to the appetizer menu. Agin food is delicious but this bread thing seems extremely petty.

Usually, casino food is not the best. Ballo is the exception to that and exceeded our expectations. The service (Jessie) was outstanding, the food was made specifically to our requests and the atmosphere was pleasant and harkened back to Italy. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!
