    Outstanding service, delicious food, economical price points, great feeling of being outdoors, but in, when the giant windows are up, lots of parking, nice outdoor space too.

    Good place for tacos and drinks. Cool setup especially when the weather is nice as the windows open and you get the patio atmosphere

    We love coming to Bakersfield for the atmosphere of downtown Detroit, good service, good drinks and food, very reasonable price. Wish it was a bit bigger so we could “pop in” without a reservation.

    We had a great time at Bakersfield! The shrimp tacos, short rib tacos, fish tacos and the short rib queso were delicious. And the margaritas were awesome!

    Appetizers and drinks were outstanding - pineapple margaritas and short rib queso along with guacamole were excellent. Tacos were mediocre comparatively. Good ambiance; picnic tables as seating added a nice esthetic. Service was exceptional. Didn’t realize it was a chain restaurant.

    Always amazed at how such a lively, crowded, noisy space never feels overwhelming or impacts service. Bakersfield is a favorite of mine. I especially enjoy introducing it to friends who haven’t discovered it yet. I should dine there more often!

    Wonderful, fresh selections. The tacos are small but mighty, & the guacamole, quesos, & cremas are perfect complements. Everything always looks & tastes divine!
