Baja Haus brings a laid-back, California beach-side, and endless summer vibe to Wayzata. We’re a unique, modern, fresh and healthy restaurant – Owner Billy already has an established reputation among locals for his fresh and healthy brands. (sushi fix & bibuta)

We also promise that our food is always fresh (we don’t even own a freezer/ microwave) and we strive to bring the healthiest options to you.

But possibly the best reason to visit Baja Haus is for its party-like atmosphere, large bar area, and a few of Wayzata’s most well-known drink masters, Josh Friedt (Owner) and Troy Vasquez. The duo have crafted a cocktail program unlike any other. The tequila and mezcal-centric cocktails provide a warm-weather backdrop for a Bad Hombre with habanero and serrano infused mezcal; or a Sexy Mongolian with ginger liquor, fresh lime, ginger beer, and more mezcal.

                                                                                              Overall decent food and drinks. Unfortunately the Pork Al Pastor tacos were disappointing. Dry cubed pieces of pork topped with a decent pico. With a little effort in the kitchen using fresh pork al pastor these could have been better. Feels like the food is starting to deteriorate and attention to detail is slipping. We frequent Baja Haus 4-5 times a month and this was the most disappointing meal we have had.

                                                                                              We had queso fundido and chips, tuna salad with pineapple and grilled steak tacos. All very good. Great service. Busy Friday night happy hour.

                                                                                              Very tasty Baja California style food. Love the seafood casuela and she fabulous sauce on the scallops! A lot more interesting choices than the average Mexican restaurant and significantly higher sophistication in the kitchen! The hostesses are cute and friendly, the servers attentive and know the menu. It’s apparent that the owners take great pride in providing both great fare and service! Our favorite restaurant in Wayzata, and there is some tough competition!
