Depuis 1917, la famille Bahrs sert des fruits de mer frais, des gros homards et des steaks de choix à des convives heureux de partout dans le monde. On y célèbre l'Oktoberfest de septembre jusqu'à novembre. Situé à l'entrée de Sandy Hook National Seashore, le Bahrs Landing dispose de 37 baies vitrées avec vue sur la rivière Shrewsbury et l'océan Atlantique. En plus, on peut souper sur la terrasse. Un des véritables établissements emblématiques de la côte du New Jersey, il est vraiment l'expérience de fruits de mer à vivre. Le Bahrs Landing offre du poisson frais, du homard, des palourdes et des huîtres. Le tout pris à la fois chez des fournisseurs locauxl et pris dans les eaux lointaines. De nombreux éléments du menu sont servis traditionnellement, simplement, tout en fraîcheur et en abondance. Ne manquez pas l'Alaska King Crab Harvest Fest le vendredi. Les présences célèbres au fil des ans incluent, Frank Sinatra, Joe DiMaggio, Mel Tormey, le président Eisenhower, John BonJovi. Dîners et soupers servis 7 jours par semaine. The view and service were excellent. The hot lobster roll and scallops were delicious, but the vegetables appeared to have been previously cooked and left over, as they were obviously not fresh. It was disappointing, as my previous visits had all been excellent.

We are long time fans of Bahr's, an old school seafood house, one of my favorite types of places. Service is always good, the seafood they cook top notch and the room and views wonderful. Great martinis ! Best cherry stone clams I've ever had. My wife loves the stuffed flounder. Biscuits are classic !

Food great but waitress not helpful- we asked her what was included with meal in terms of side dishes - she never mentioned coleslaw, so we both ordered. And then it came with the meal anyways so now we had 4 portions

Reservations are a must! Had a wonderful early mothers day dinner and the Reservation saved us. Those without had to wait a decent amount of time, but it's mothers day, you need to plan for that! Food was fantastic and they gave us a great view of the Schrewsbury. Awesome seafood.

Steamers and lobster were phenomenal. Kitchen was disappointing slow in delivering every course. Server was frustrated by kitchen’s lateness. Many tables felt the same.

I love Bahrs and have been many times. This time was not a good experience at all. Our server, I couldn't tell you his name since he didn't tell us, was one of the worst. Took our drink order after waiting for a while. We both ordered clam chowder, planned to share a calamari appetizer and I ordered grilled monk fish and my friend order the crab cakes. The soup and calamari were brought out together which was annoying and felt like we were being rushed.....and to add to the aggravation, our dinners were brought out 2 minutes after that. I hate being rushed. Our server was no where to be seen. He never came back to ask how things were or see if we needed another drink or water refill - nothing. The monk fish was overcooked and very dry, my friend said the crab cakes were okay but she only ate one of the 2 that were served. We sat for a while after we finished - and our server finally came back to clear some plates (he wreaked of cigarettes) and asked if we wanted dessert. We did order the blueberry cobbler to share....it was warm and made with fresh blueberries but had a doughy consistency/taste. I don't think it was cooked enough. Compounding the frustrating evening, there was an error processing a credit card payment. As I said, I have frequented Bahrs many times and have always loved it.....but after this experience, I don't think I would go back again. Perhaps if the server was more attentive and had checked to try and resolve the rushing issues and food quality it would have made for a more positive experience but he was awful and really should not be working there.

I've been going to Barhs for 60 years. It is always a pleasant experience. This time was still very good but the place was swamped. All indoor and outdoor seating comes out of the one main kitchen and all tables were filled. So did I wait a little longer for my food, yes. It was still hot and delicious. You have to understand that they were doing the best they could considering the volume of customers and food. It's still a great place. Thanks.

It was a very busy Saturday night with a giant party of diners at one long table we had to wait for our (reserved) table and service was a bit slow at first. But the staff handled it all pretty smoothly and once he got to our table our waiter did a great job. We love the white tablecloths and the perfect seaside interior and view. We like having seafood that isn’t over sauced or too trendy. The mushrooms were good but the coconut curry sauce was kind of a weird match. The seafood we all had was excellent, but we’d still like having Cole slaw and biscuits brought to the table at the start. And a choice of sides. The prices for everything have risen very substantially so both Lobster and steak were way too pricey for us. However, it was a special occasion for us and we enjoyed our dinner very much.

My favorite place At favorite place. So many memories from the 70’s. And coming here with my Parents as a young girl. The food is second to None. The service is always perfect. Along with the food. Today I had the salmon. My family had the seafood platter The blueberry crumble is freshly made as you can tell. We also had the potato pancakes which was perfect. Love this place Thanks for all you do.

Every restaurant is entitled to an off night, I ordered crab cakes (mind you I have had them here before). They were terrible and had a lot of shell fragments in the one that I ate. So disappointing!!

The ambiance was fantastic, the service was very good, but I didn’t care for my meal (a fried fisherman’s platter). It tasted like it was cooked, frozen, and thawed to serve. It made me thankful the portion was small. My wife had glazed salmon that she liked, but that portion was small for the price of the dish.

We had an amazing family dinner here last night. All the seafood was fresh and tasted amazing ! My husband already says we are going back for his birthday. We drove about an hour to go here & we were NOT disappointed. We had the Bahrs Bake, Broiled Platter, Lobster Roll (buttered on not the salad one), swordfish, lobster, steamers, and potato pancakes. The seafood tower appetizer was less expensive and more delicious than the Old Homestead at the Borgata! Is it cheap? No. Are you getting what you pay for? Absolutely !

Overall a great experience to celebrate my wife's birthday. Food was very good everyone at the table shared the shell fish offerings along with starting off with a seafood tower. Food was ample and extremely tasty for everyone at the table. I rated the value a bit lower just in reality that pricing is to be expected to be high for the type of food you get and the historic atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was ok our server was good but did not go over the top in the service and at times the check ins were few and far between. It really is a great restaurant to celebrate an occasion with friends and family. Bar area is cozy and very nostalgic. We will definitely return as it had been too long.

Always wanted to try Bahr’s. Finally made it for lunch today. Friendly and efficient staff. Love this historic restaurant. Food was very good and served quickly. Beautiful views! I’ll be back.

Bahr's is always a great place to eat when everyone wants something different. The lobster pot pie is delicious. My guests had crab cakes and flounder stuffed with crab meat. Perfect. Our waiter was accommodating and pleasant.

Had a birthday celebration and a great experience. Staff was fun and attentive had a table with a beautiful view. Great seafood.

First time going for lunch, we usually do dinner here. Great menu and always delish. Can’t wait to go back. I had the burger with the Lobster tail. So very tasty.

Wondeful! We always wanted to try this restaurant for Valentines Day. This year, since my husband had off, we got the chance. Lovely view, wonderful food, great drinks, and music. Who could ask for more. And they were selling chocolate in the lobby WOW. Certainly plan to come here next year.

Delicious seafood on the water. $$$ you pay for what you get. The waiter was very attentive on a busy night too. Yes we will go back.
