Wonderful entrees and appetizers. Server had to be asked to clear dishes and bring cutlery and was overall not as attentive as we would have liked.

Service was very good. I think Sophia handled our table. The spicy shrimp appetizer was very good. The chicken entrees were only fair. The two meals were presented nicely but the chicken on both dishes was dry.

The waiter did not know anything about the menu and anything we wanted they couldn’t do which made no sense seeing they had it on their menu item. Our food took over an hour and we got there right at 11 so it was not busy at all. This was on Mother’s Day also. $125 bill for horrible food. Definitely won’t be back to this location.

Great food and value for money, really enjoy this new style of Bahamas Breeze’s building and decor, way better than I drive Orlando which starts looking dingy and tired. Good option of food and drinks, great value for money, service was excellent!!

Nice location, clean and updated interior. Good service, seated timely for Open Table reservation. not too crowded at 3pm however; had to return two meals due one wrong oreder and 2nd. over cooked salmon - rubbery texture. Server did his best and reordered items and removed returned items. No manager came over to inquire about issue.

Issues with attitude of one hostess. As they say "one bad apple". Reservation requests for small dining room denied by main hostess although the room was mostly empty. IF unavailable then I should have been notified beforehand. Birthday on the reservation forgotten. If occasion is requested on the form then it should be addressed. Birthday reminder made to our server who was excellent. She brought a cake with candle. Overall an unpleasant experience with good service and good food.

Waiter was awesome. Food took longer than expected. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took 30+minutes to get it.

The blackened mahi tacos were mediocre, at best. The guacamole was poor. The service was pretty good. The seafood chowder was very good.

Absolutely excellent service. I wish I could remember our server’s name!!! She was terrific! My husband ordered a standard Manhattan which threw the bar staff for a loop in this Caribbean theme place. But sure appreciate the repeated effort to get his drink right! Enjoyed our dinner here!

1st time. Jerk Shrimp App comes in a soup of liquid and was really over cooked but had decent flavor. Comes with an entire loaf of Cuban bread. Empanadas were delicious. I ordered Jerk shrimp pasta without the veggies and was delivered fully loaded. Replacement received almost immediately but the Shrimp looked boiled and had no seasoning. The 3rd attempt was amazing.

The service is very good. We had jerk chicken pasta, cheese sticks and coconut shrimp. The taste is beyond the expectations. We are decided to go agin.

Fantastic first experience. The music was delightful and almost enough to get us out of our seats for some dancing, although only slightly loud to enjoy dinner conversation and overpowered us a couple of times. The food was quite fresh, innovative, and a nice change from run of the mill eateries. Would love to see a few gluten free options as appetizers for those of us unable to choose from the regular menu. That aside, we will be returning for another refreshing experience with the family next time we visit Gainesville. Bien!
