Baekjeong literally means butcher in Korean which is a name we hold proud of.
We proudly serve only the finest cuts of Premium Alberta Sterling Silver meat which prepared by 15 years experienced butcher. Every table features a built-in grill (use gas) to allow you to dine at your own table.

All meat orders are accompanied by bottomless Korean style salads and vegetables. Combo meals have a choice of either soybean paste soup, kimchi stew, steamed eggs, soft-tofu soup or corn cheese.
Our relaxing atmosphere and juicy dishes make Baekjeong a perfect place to hold all kinds of parties and gatherings. Please reserve a spot a head of time for parties of eight or more.

Staff at this location are as second to none the best I’ve seen in a restaurant setting. By the time you blinked your food was on the table or dishes were being replenished. It was my aunties bday and they comp’d a slice of cheesecake for her. The flavours were fresh and tasty. Will be going back for sure :)

Pros: Quality of food, selection of meat and vegetables was excellent! The restaurant was clean and service was very fast. Cons: Price! Very expensive! Small tables, hardly had room to eat let alone place all the dishes. Very noisy! With all the gas grills and ventilation the music was turned up way too loud and made it difficult to have a conversation. This is a sit-down and cook-your-own food (similar to a fondue) type place. For the price we paid, I would feel better having my food cooked by a cook. The cost was $230 for 3 people and we had no drinks. Just tea and water. If you like that type of dining, and enjoy trying different flavours and have the funds this is the place for you! It is a unique dinning experience that I'm sure many people would enjoy, just not for me.

We had a great experience at Baekjeong. It’s so nice to have a great Korean bbq option on the west side! Splurge and go for the deluxe combo that comes with all marinated meat. The green salad in the banchan is the bomb, hubby and I had two full bowls of it, yum.

I prefer this location over the south side one! The service here was quick and excellent, with staff always being friendly and very attentive, eager to assist us.

One of our favourite restaurants in Edmonton!! We love going here as a group because of the fun and delicious experience. It is really cool getting to grill the different cuts and types of meat and build your own wraps. The toppings are unlimited and delicious! The quality of their meat is truly exceptional. Always fresh and juicy. I also love the fast service and how quickly the refill dishes, drinks and swap out for a fresh grill. The staff are all so friendly and responsive.

10/10 can not recommend this place enough. I dream of the food when I’m not there. The service was AMAZING and the food… well it was like eating a dream. Haha. I’m also obsessed with all the side dishes you get.

We always go to the one in the south for our pre Valentine dinner date and its our 1st time to try the Mayfield location and the same as Calgary Trail the service was Amazing! Thank u! We will be back next time again

This was by far one of the worst restaurants I’ve experienced for the price I’ve paid in Edmonton. I took my family for a nice dinner, and the expection leading to the food was the best part of the dinner. The meats were meh and kind of tasteless even with sauces, and the sides were very below average…and the only thing that was slightly above average was the onions on soya sauce. Service was below average, water is served in kids water bottle and waitress just throw the side/met plates in front of you. My wife and I had stomach aches for all night after, and even considering putting a formal claim with the restaurant. All in all, $240 for 2 adults and 2 children is way over price for this place… they need to work really hard to even come close to any below average Korean/asian place in town. Not worth at all.

We totally enjoyed our food and experience at your restaurant. The only problem we had was the noise level. It was hard to visit with our friends. Otherwise outstanding!!

Ordered dumplings to start and they did take a while to arrive, but that were very good. After that we had the Baekjeong combo and it was excellent. It really did live up to the advertised premium meat label. I thought the banchan was a bit skimpy though, considering there were 5 of us each person *barely* had a small bite of each dish. Would definitely go back.

It was double family birthday dinner for myself and my daughter. Neither of us had ever been to a Korean BBQ so it was an experience. An explanation of how to eat the BBQ would have been nice. Fortunately, one of our party had had it before and showed us what to do. The food and service was very good. I was pleased that we were given a large table for our party. The menu was flexible as we ordered the BBQ combo for 3 and added some other dishes to try out. The table got very crowded when the food started coming. The only change I would have liked is to have had the dumplings and seafood pancake as appetizers first before starting on the BBQ.

Meat quality is one of the best for kbbq! Greta service, staff were quick!!! Good value I'd say. Would love to see more lighter/veggies options for appetizers since all the meat were very rich.
