Bacari Sherman Oaks is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 6th restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Offering a rotating curation of small-production wines, unique cocktails, and eclectic beers from around the world, we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special.

    The food was delicious, the servers were incredible. We only ate vegan entrees but all was wonderful. going there again this weekend.

    We were seated in the room with the bar, and there were four of us, and we could not have a conversation. There was music, and the noise level was so intense that it was not possible to hear each other.L I think we will try the restaurant again and request a table on the patio when the warmer weather comes around. We also may try the restaurant for brunch and ask for an outside table.  Food was very good, and the menu says order 2 to 3 plates per person. We were four people ordered six plates, and two desserts as we were celebrating a birthday of one of the diners. The six plates were more than adequate for the four of us. We like the variety of items on the menu and the number of vegetarian and pescatarian choices.

    We have been here several times and normally we love everything about it! But I guess this was just a bad experience. Our side dish came first, a half an hour later our appetizers came and an hour and a half after that our dinner arrived. The scallops were so overdone they were like gum drops, but not in a good way. The waiter, who was very pleasant did not even ask us how our dinners were nor did he apologize for us waiting over an hour for our entrées. It was our anniversary and we were extremely disappointed. Not the usual Bacari.

    We thought that a Monday would not be quite so busy, and made the mistake of not sitting outside. It was very noisy. Yet your food is very tasty. I am not sure we’re going to go back again.

    Your place is great. Servicers are respectful and helpful. My only complaint would be the level of music. We were right under a speaker and could not hear each other talk, but the staff lowered the music and turned off the speaker above us. That was very much appreciated. Thank you for listening to us. We will definitely come back!!!!

    We had a group of 6 for early evening outdoor dining. There was a long delay before initial service, but after that service was very good. Our outstanding dishes were the pizza with Asian pear and brie, the scallops, snd the salatin. All the dishes we had were good.

    Long wait for the table we reserved. But, management brought out complimentary wine as an acknowledgement for the delay. Very nice server. Yummy food. Great atmosphere. Very good value.

    First time there. Very slow service. Food was mediocre. Won't be going back.
