The place is a gem. They've gotten so popular now that they've started to have to take reservations. The decor is almost a Russian log cabin theme with little nicknacks around the walls. A beautiful birch tree forest scene takes up most of one wall. The staff is always fantastic and friendly. The food is just amazing. Been there over a dozen times and never once had anything less than fabulous. Top marks all around for one of Florida's top restaurants!

This is a great mixture of Russian Ukrainian and other eastern European foods. Prepared just like my mother and grandmother used to make. His cute little restaurant decorated interior with Russian homie decor. I had no idea what I was going to get, but I wanted to take my new friend to try Russian food. It ended up being a great experience. To the point that will be going back will be bringing other friends. Eventually this is a great little find.

Food was good but a bit pricey. Loved the atmosphere. Waited 25 min for someone to take our order. Food came out fairly quickly.

Everything we had was great, blinchiki, mushroom soup, loaded dumplings, potato vareniki, beef stroganoff, chicken kyiv & deserts. Our waitress was very nice & funny, we had a great time. This was my 3rd visit :)

The service was alittle slow getting the drinks and soup out first but the waitress was so pleasant it didn't matter. The appetizer we ordered was pierogies . They were served with sour cream and were delish. We had wild mushroom soup and again flavorful and delicious. The main course we had was the lamb and it was tender and light. The whole experience was delightful and we are excited to go back . It brought back many memories of my grandma making these courses . What a hidden treasure .

The service was slow. After we ordered, it took almost 30 minutes to get out food. There were only three of us and only two other tables had customers. The food was amazing though, will definitely go back. I got the mushroom soup and cabbage rolls, perfect!

The food we had included the pork and beef dumplings, the khachapuri pie and the Chicken kiev. They were all tasty. However, the miscommunication had one guest totally without an entree and what was called "Lemonade" tasted like old flat soda. Possibly this is what is typically called lemonade and that is OK. It wasn't OK that one appetizer came out after one entree, than another appetizer came out and when were enquired about the additional entree, we learned that order was never put it. When we asked why the entree came before the starter we were told it was being made so we were allowing time for the other guest entree. Won't be rushing back. Maybe take out would be easier.

Food portions are too small. Ordered the lamb dish and there were only 4 bite size pieces of lamb and the rice was no more than a cup. Way too small of a portion for the price. The Babushka salad was just cucumbers and tomatoes in a very bland vinaigrette. It was really boring. I could have made a better version at home. The pierogis were good but the broth tasted like “better than bouillon.” Portions were so small we had no leftovers and that’s rare for us. We were hungry an hour later.

A/C not working so it was rough waiting for an extended time for both ordering and receiving food. Pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. Waitress was good. Food was very (very) bland. Was expecting some type of departure from American or typical fare but it was not really great food. Could use flavor. Maybe this is how food is in Russia. 1 and done.

Went to Babushka's a couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Babushka's. The stuffed cabbage rolls were very good!! Can't wait to go back again and try something different.

My entree (Lamb Plov) was terrible, but that was my choice as was the awful beer I selected. My wife’s beef stroganoff was delicious as well as her Turkish coffee. Dessert (Napoleon) was great. Cozy atmosphere & authentic Former Soviet Union staff! I will choose a safer entree my next time & perhaps check out their downtown location

We really enjoyed our dinner! We had a large party and everything was quick to come out and the restaurant wasn't busy at all (on a Friday night). The kompot is delicious and all of the food was absolutely wonderful. Soooo flavorful. We will definitely be back.

So happy to have found this gem! We like to find unique restaurants to experience and this one did not disappoint. The borscht was a delicious surprise as was the beef Samsa we ordered as apps (very filling). The Chicken Kiev was flavorful and though filled and fried was not heavy. The Kotlety beef croquettes were moist and also very delightful. Quite a bit of leftovers which we enjoyed later. We will be returning as there are other menu items we wish to try. 5 star recommendation!!

We had dinner at 7 PM on a Friday evening. There were five of us. The service was excellent, explaining what everything was and offering suggestions. Charming little restaurant with excellent food. Highly recommend for families, couples, and a unique flavor of the Ukraine.

Only one server working so the service was slow. However, Erma was so sweet and charming which made up for the long wait. The food was fresh, attractively plated, and flavorful. I have not tasted Russian or Ukraine food but I was lucky in choosing the meat Blinchiki (ground beef wrapped in crepe) and Vinegret (diced beet, potato). I planned to go back and try other menu items. The ambiance is fun and the prices reasonable.
