I dealt with very rude waitstaff who seemed to be profiling my black male friend who had joined me and my sister for her birthday dinner- I was beyond disappointed that her night ended with her being verbally berated by restaurant staff who falsely accused her of being drunk when she was just upset at the service she had received that evening

The service was awful. The russian waitress was rude and never smiled. She rushed our dinner in 45 minutes and that was my husband birthday! The chicken butter was delicious but other meals just so so. The decor and ambiance were very good though. We won’t return to not feel welcome and have to pay 150$ for decent meals.

The restaurant has a really good vibe with good food. The checkin was easy and we were offered plenty of seating tables to chose from of our choice. We got an eating which was very private and what we were looking for. The ambiance was really good and finely detailed. Tried their mocktails and they were refreshing. The thing that needs improvement is service and we had to couple of times wait for our server and find him around. Overall a great experience and they even liten up the candles for my wife’s birthday.

Excellent service. 100% on point and so friendly. Good suggestions and menu knowledge. Good was yummy and well timed. Pretty good value and beautiful and lively atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We went at the tail end of NYC Restaurant week so the place was insanely busy. Pros: The food is beautifully presented and offers really interesting spice combinations. Cons: Compared to the appetizers and side dishes, The entree portions were TINY and for the most part the food came out at room temp and not nearly hot enough. The space is surrounded by hard surfaces everywhere and thus is incredibly loud. Service overall was attentive but I have to say that our waited did not smile once. We'll probably go back during a NON-Restaurant Week period,

Incredible food, drinks, ambiance and service. Our group enjoyed all the dishes we tried. Highly recommend for anything from a date night to a special occasion celebration and will be back!

Expected the food to be better. Not very well spiced and almost bland. The paneer pinwheels were very mediocre and the shortrib dish lacked flavor as well. The best part was the amuse bouche. Probably would not return even if the atmosphere was very nice.

Chef Sujan has mastered the approach to Michelin starred Indian food and honoring traditional flavors. The space has always been stunning and service has always been mediocre at best.

We called to let them know we were a few mi utes late and they told us that the kitchen was already closed. If they can’t serve they shouldn’t let us reserve at that schedule!

Our server Jaz was well-informed on the menu and gave us excellent service. The food is tasty and unusual and well-spiced. Our only "reservation" was the noise level. We were able to arrange to sit catty-cornered. Had we had a table's length between us we could have spent the night shouting at each other.

My friend and I came for restaurant week. It was my first time at the restaurant and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the sweet potato chat, ghee roasted lamb with saffron rice, and had the mango chili sorbet for dessert. The portions were fantastic and the service was top notch! I loved the cocktails that were named after the Bollywood movies - a really personal touch!

Strong smell of Indian food from the kitchen goes straight into the dining area where we were asked to be seated . We switched to the bar area which was nicer.Quality of food has declined over years for the price and quantity . Overall not the best value.

Despite having a reservation, we were offered a table behind the main room, which was awful. We had to wait for a better table. The music was so loud, it was hard to talk. They had someone singing live. Unexpected. Besides that had a private party. I didn’t want to be a part of that. The food was good, slightly overpriced for what it’s worth, but good. At $40 a plate I expected a better service and placement with my reservation. Nobody asked me half way how the food was. Waited for an extra sauce for a while. I’ve never seen such a small amount of sauce given with food. I’d go again just for tikka masala. Or maybe order to take out. That’s a better option.

The inventive Indian cuisine, the ambiance and service make this a memorable experience! We did the tasting menu which was a fantastic meal. The cauliflower 65, the swordfish tikka, the paneer pinwheel, stuffed potato and butter chicken were all delicious. We devoured the pistachio saffron ice cream. The cocktails were unique & divine especially the gimlet. We had excellent service - Jaswanth was knowledgeable about the menu, so friendly and ensured we were satisfied- he was fabulous!!!!!

Terrible experience. Food sucks. They boil chicken separately and when you order a dish with chicken you basically get boiled chicken mixed in sauce rather than a properly simmered dish. Cheap restaurants do this. The shole place stinks and you stink as well. We had to shower when we got back home in order to get rid of the smell. The waiters are terrible, you have to drag them to your table to get their attention. They all act like they have been hypnotized and there is something else in their mind that has nothing to do with your table. We received our appetizers and I had to ask the guy for utensils so that we can eat our food.
