Le B&G Oysters vous propose une version remise au goût du jour du classique bar à huîtres. Situé dans le South End de Boston, ce restaurant au charme résolument local combine un service à la fois poli et chaleureux avec des plats de fruits de mer d'une fraîcheur exceptionnelle. Ils sont accordés avec des vins parfaitement en situation. Le B&G Oysters a reçu de nombreuses récompenses au fil des ans pour ses menus et sa carte, notamment celle du « meilleur plat de fruits de mer » en 2007 et 2008 par le « Boston Magazine ». Cette bonne table au sous-sol est organisée autour de sa cuisine ouverte, toujours active et entourée d'un bar en marbre blanc. Par temps chaud, vous aimerez déguster des boissons et plus sur la terrasse en pierre, idéale pour les repas en plein air dans la ville. Merci de noter que toutes les réservations concernent l'intérieur du restaurant. Vous pourrez vous installer sur la terrasse, mais uniquement une fois arrivé sur place.

Everything was delicious and incredibly fresh and the sauce enhancements added just the right accents. Loved the fried oysters, the arugula salad, the mussels and the lobster roll. If we lived in Boston, we would be regulars!

Great seafood spot in the South End. We really enjoyed the oysters and they have a great wine list. Service was excellent.

Another great visit to B & G Oysters. My only comment is they had changed some of the wines offered by the glass, and I did not find the white offering very compelling. Please add some natural wine selections! Staff are always fantastic!

I love B&G. Great oysters, whole flash fried branzino, good wines and beer, everything is always well executed and the wait staff is lovely. One of my faves in Boston.

We came for the famous lobster roll and although the lobster was fresh the roll was so small and the amount of the lobster was so little for $55!!!! Not worth it at all. Very disappointing! The fries tasted bitter. Mussels were fine. Broth tasty. The coleslaw was tasteless! I wished we didn’t go there at all for a $115.

The clam chowder was thin and had very few clams. Clams themselves were tough and chewy as if they'd been sitting around too long in liquid. The so-called Maine crab arancini were awful. There was no taste of crab. They tasted fishy and not fresh. They had been deep fried too long and the exterior was way too dark. Also the portion was very stingy--3 tiny arancini. We remarked on the fishy taste to the server and the arancini price was removed from our bill. The fried calamari were good enough, although I've had better and again it was a small portion. The chocolate mousse was fairly good but not very light, more like a pudding than a mousse. The food is in general mediocre and prices are high for what it is. Won't be returning.

We have been here so many times but were disappointed. The portions were embarrassing for the price. The lobster BLT was more like a BLT. We had a fried seafood plate that had an insulting amount of seafood. I am not sure that we will ever go back.

Very poor service. We ordered a bunch of apps/small plates for our dinner and asked that they be spaced out. Instead it took 50 minutes - during which the waitress completely ignored us - and they all came out at once. The food was decent but not worth the money when paired with mediocre service.

Very cozy and warm setting. Fresh and delicious oysters and clams. Very welcoming staff who provided excellent service. Can choose to sit outdoors for fresh air or to sit indoors to see the live kitchen actions.

Lovely service and exquisite food as always! The Languedoc Pinot noir paired perfectly with our Welfleet and Duxbury oysters. Definitely one of the top three seafood destinations in Boston!

Great oysters! The rest of the food was also delicious but seemed a little overpriced. Regardless, I would still go there again as the experience was a positive one!

We enjoyed our meal - I love the mussels and bronzino and the wine selection is very good. The ambiance is casual and basic but the food is worth it and perhaps that's part of its charm.

Small restaurant but with excellent food! Everything was fresh and delicious! All menu items are fish or seafood so don’t bring your meat-loving or vegetarian friends. I read reviews that the restaurant was expensive and was nervous when prices were not posted on the on-line menu. Fear not, prices were normal for Boston area with entrees priced in the $25 - $35 range.

Lovely birthday surprise dinner for my boyfriend. First time there for both of us and we enjoyed our raw bar items, the arancini and the swordfish. Plus they did a sweet birthday dessert presentation. Our table was next to the kitchen, which was also fun since we could watch the prep. Service was lovely. We’ll be back!

Cozy & intimate with fabulous oysters . Octopus was great & lobster arrancini yummy . Avoid Lobster roll which was awful -chopped up , overcooked & dry . Lots of lemon in a soggy roll . The $45 price tag was ridiculous. Service was attentive & friendly . Stick to oyster anything on the menu & thoroughly worth it

Great selection of oysters perfectly shucked. Exceptional additional seafood options and wine list. The clam bellies are unbelievable. Can't wait to go back.

We love this restaurant. We have come here for many years and usually have the same meal built around the lobster roll with warm butter. We did have sticker shock at the cost. But we recognize eating out in Boston is expensive. Will save B&G for special occasions

Great service. Good food, nothing outstanding but not bad either — there are other spots in Boston at the same price point that are more innovative and refined than B&G, like Neptune. Highlights were the scallops and the grilled octopus. We were seated at a table by the main door so lots of cold air coming in — I think having a heat lamp near the entrance would be nice. A good experience overall but would go elsewhere next time!

Overall we had an excellent meal and experience. Ahkmed, our server was fantastic. He not only made great recommendations but was also friendly and personable. Everything we had was delicious . I will say the clam chowder was a little disappointing…the consistency was very liquidy and the clams were too chewy. Aside from that the flavor was nice. Lobster aeancioni, oysters, fish and chips absolutely delicious. We will return!
