The server Noah was super helpful and very accommodating. All 7 in our group loved everything we ordered. Can’t wait to go back!

Unfortunately still in its teething phase with new inexperienced staff. In addition, my wife and I were seated at the bar even after stating we preferred a table. Furthermore we were asked to move down the bar mid-meal. Figure your sh*t out.

Our 3rd time in. Very small, so make a reservation. We have had appetizers, gyoza and edamame, and they are good. Sushi is very good, we had their weekly special rolls - the gold digger and lobster roll. Excellent. Entrees- udon soup bowl, yaki soba noodles, and kimchi fried rice each with choice of protein. All very good. There is some inconsistency with the flavor of the fried rice, much more spicy last time. All in all, we love it and will return.

It was our second time coming in and we ordered cocktails with our food and dessert this time. The food was amazing like last time but the cocktails and dessert were the icing on the cake. Order family style and share dishes you won’t be disappointed!!

We had the salt and pepper wings. They were too salty, left them on the table. Also had the atomic? wings, they had no taste. I had the udon noodle short rib bowl, the rib meat was gross. The soft shell crab just smelled like seafood, no taste, my husband enjoyed the cold seafood salad, forgot the name. The ambiance was nice, but noisy.

Cute decor and the food is fabulous. We love the chicken wings - the salt and pepper are our favorite. The chicken katsu is amazing as well

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Awaji Izakaya! We were seated promptly and our waiter was the best! The food was on time and plated beautifully.

We absolutely loved our first time here and will be returning! We had the spicy garlic edamame and it was mediocre. We then tried the udon noodle soup with beef and it was amazing! We also tried sushi! We got the Cajun roll, volcano roll, crab roll, and the Kristy kaboom (my favorite). We then got the blueberry cobbler cheesecake! This place will not disappoint. Highly suggest reservations as the wait time is usually over and hour.

The food was okay i got the Hokkaido scallop it tasted like fish so that was a let down, the food is nothing really to be excited about we got some sushi which we didnt get with the rest of our food. It somehow got over looked the servers made it right and did a pretty good job.

First time dining, great experience! Everyone from the hostess (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) to our server, Noah, were awesome. Will definitely go back, as this is the best sushi I’ve had in a long while. Also, 10/10 recommend the brûlée cheesecake.

Second time in one week at Awaji. The service is great and the food is some of the best Japanese that I have had since moving to OKC. I’m surprised by how great the quality of the sashimi is for where we are! This is one of the few restaurants where I feel like I have to try everything at least once

Birthday party of 6 so we got to try quite a few different things. I had the Toro Sashimi and the Hokkaido Scallop Sashimi (it was my birthday) and loved both. I've had better fatty tuna but at about twice the price, it was very tasty. Everyone else covered the gambit from Salmon to Beef Tenderloin to Sushi. The only stinker of the bunch was, surprisingly, the California roll. My daughter wouldn't take a 2nd bite so I took one for the team and tried it to see if she was being overly dramatic...it was the worst bite of sushi I've ever had. Everything else was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our server was attentive, friendly and helpful. Overall a great night and I'm sure we will be back again.
