AVRA was a short walk from where we staying. The food was good, though we thought extremely expensive. Our waitstaff was good but not exceptional. The atmosphere was very nice, and it was quiet.

Avra is the best ! The food is always amazing, atmosphere is beautiful with positive vibes and our service was beyond wonderful!! We were 8 women and our head waiter was to perfection in service, attentiveness and kindness. BRAVO TEAM AVRA & THANK YOU !

This is a beautiful restaurant. We loved eating downstairs because it was quiet. The appetizers of beets and shrimp were excellent. Shrimp were flavorful and really grilled on charcoal. We had the lamb chops and halibut which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was just what you want - helpful but not intrusive.

Brunch with the 7-day a week lunch menu is a wonderful value at Avra. Outdoor dining was not available, but the tables indoors were spread far enough apart, and the interior is lovely & airy. Service was patient and attentive, and the 3-course menu gives lots of options. Would definitely come here again.

I booked the reservation, and specifically indicated that my option was to sit outside. They are lovely booths set up outside, and a few extra tables with no extra frills across from the booths. However, notwithstanding that I could show evidence of my outdoor request, the three hostess mentioned that basically that did not mean anything, and there was another step to ensure we got outside seating. When my husband pressed to show us what we needed to do, she could not tell us. They could offer us a booth at 4.30 and our reservation was 2.45, as neither one of us wanted to sit inside, we had no choice but to sit at the no frills table across from the booths. I felt bad for my husband, as this was his first time out since he lost his mum, and I wanted him to have a lovely lunch, there were some booths open. The food and drinks were great, and Ricardo our waiter was wonderful. It could have been an awesome experience if we given a table in the outside booths. I still don't know what you need to do to ensure you get a table outside, even when you specifically request outside in the reservation and can show evidence of us

The food and the service are fine. the place it's nice. The problem are the tables near the bar, it's IMPOSSIBLE to sit there, extremly uncomfortable!!!!
