We were one of only two tables in the restaurant. Had to ask for more iced tea and both dishes were very overcooked. Ordered my steak sandwich medium rare and it was medium well and well done in different places. My aunt couldn’t even cut her chicken breast it was so tough. I always recommend this restaurant. I guess you should stick with the pasta?

Had a great night celebrating our son’s birthday. Service was exceptional!! Food was delicious. Loved the zucchini blossoms appetizer as well as everything else. Thank you so much for a wonderful night

Friendly service, delicious food, clean and nice environment. Service was just a tad slow on bringing our check; but otherwise very friendly and attentive for filling water and clearing the table. I would definitely return and already recommended it to a friend.

Went for lunch today with two friends. Started with the bruschetta-the best I have ever eaten! The tomatoes, cheese, balsamic reduction and the grilled bread were the tastiest combination! I ordered the flat iron steak - the jalapeno tomato sauce had the perfect bite, the steak was tender and the mashed potatoes were divine. One friend had the same and loved it ! My other friend had the pasta with sauce & sausage- loved it. And her husband loved the short rib pasta ( she took it to go ) Great service, ambiance and top notch food

Authentic Italian the seafood pasta dish and risotto were memorable. Avanzare got the seal of approval from a friend whose wife is from Barri region of Italy . It lived up to his praise!

Unfortunately, the evening did not start off well. We were told that we had to wait for our reservation for atleast 10-15 min after our original time, even though we showed up early. Then after waiting, we were told another 15 min. Noticed that they seated other groups that were walk ins so I guess they were given priority. We had two young children who were starving so we decided to leave and just as we did, the manager came running after us and asked us to stay. They turned around a table and even through a pizza in the oven for the kids, no charge. The food was good, not great. Felt a little rushed as it was now kind of late for dinner and they were getting ready to close. Wouldn’t mind giving them another try but will likely favor other restaurants over this one.

Delicious food and wine. Love to see how busy this family run restaurant is on a Saturday night. Great in house made pasta. Reasonable wine selection. Looks like they have a very nice private room which I hadn’t noticed before.

Went here for the first time on Valentine's Day. They had the tables all packed together in the main dining room and we were practically right on top of the other customers. Despite making a reservation online, our table seemed like an afterthought as it was right by the entranceway where there was heavy foot traffic. Service was poor, we probably saw our waiter four times total and it took a long time for us to get our check. Our table didn't receive bread despite them setting out butter for us and many of the tables next to us had bread. The experience was not worth the price and I will not be going back again, on Valentine's day or otherwise. The food was alright.

Have been here several times and was always attentive service. Was so catastrophically understaffed on Valentine’s Day it was almost comedic. Got a drink and dinner ordered quick enough, after that we were on our own. Plates were empty easily 15-20 minutes before an offer for dessert. Staff looked tremendously overwhelmed.

Love the food quality and selection, the staff who are always attentive and so pleasant, and the quiet atmosphere. Have been here several times, have taken friends. Dining experience equal to much higher priced restaurants.

My friend and I were in the area, she had dined here previously and suggested it. It was early afternoon so we had the place practically to ourselves, with a couple of other large gatherings. The service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent, from our prosciutto and melon starter to our fabulous cocktails. The portions were a bit large, but that’s everywhere these days I think. I really enjoyed the music playing as well. Contemporary Italian when we were there. A great experience all around.

Had a birthday celebration for the wife, with 3 of her friends attending. Food was fantastic. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Very comfortable setting for 5 friends to get together and enjoy the company and great food. Everyone tried something different and all were well pleased.

Overall I was very pleased with my experience in terms of food and service. The ambience was a little loud but tolerable and timing of delivery of courses by the waiter could be improved a little. I ordered the fried calamari appetizer, minestrone soup and lamb chops. The calamari was excellent in taste, lightly battered and lightly seasoned, just how I like it. The minestrone soup was okay, average. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and doneness was exactly as I ordered, medium. They were delicious, I never had better anywhere else. The artichoke and brussel sprout accompaniment was just right for the dish. My friends and I truly enjoyed the experience and we all said we would definitely come back again. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful Christmas decor. Nice salads. My whitefish was tasty and what a large portion! Pizza eaters really loved their pizzas too. Also way better value than Coopershawk where we ate the other night. Very nice server and hostess.

After the server took our order, she took our salad forks since we did not order a salad. Very strange and we wondered what diners ended up with them. The bread that came with the meal was so soft that it reminded us of something from the grocery store that they forgot to crisp up in the oven before serving. The red sauce on my pasta had absolutely no flavor, was sweet tasting and not at all like a marinara. My husband ordered eggplant parm and was totally unimpressed with the food. We won't be going back.
