We had a very nice Mother’s Day celebration at Aurora’s. Buffet was excellent, presentation was well done.

We had a wonderful time. The presentation of the food was spectacular, the food quality was Awesome 😋 I would like to see the hotel work on the ambience ,the lighting in the rooms, maybe a light music being played that was semi-upbeat, but soft.

The buffet food and its presentation was impressive. Extensive variety and very tasty. However, the dessert area was too small, which led to congestion in that popular area. But, the biggest compaint was having to wait an hour for our “reserved” table. There’s no excuse other than overbooking the restaurant, which was done intentionally and with no consideration of the patrons. Making elderly diners and families with young children wait that long was a callous choice made by the manager(s) of Aurora. Also, making my 87 year old mother pay $85 plus tax and gratuity, was inappropriate. She ate less than what a 5-year old child would eat. Those issues dampened the enjoyment of the excellent food. I doubt we’ll waste our time and money again.

This review is specifically for the Mother's Day Brunch 2024 - as usual, the food was nothing less than spectacular! The quality of the food was superb and the choices could not have been better! One of the best all-you-can-eat brunches I have ever experienced! Room for improvement is in the manner of access - it was a total mess approaching the hostess (who did a fantastic job managing expectations and keeping her cool in the midst of difficult circumstances) - not great directions once you entered the lobby - the mimosa offering as you entered was a little confusing as you weren't immediately sure whether that location was to check-in, or just get mimosas. We waited for the mimosa bar to be restocked (ran out of OJ and sparking wine [btw - have never seen sparking wine with a twist off top! As you can imagine, the quality of that was not great]). We waited about 15 minutes to get seated (and noted that another group with reservations for the same time were seated about 15 minutes after us). A mob of folks in the lobby didn't give a great feeling of anticipation, but rather dread (if they can't handle this, how can they handle the meal?) - Thankfully, once seated we didn't wait long for a server (Oscar and Melanie? were outstanding - long and tough day for them, I'm sure), and the food was just terrific. We sat in the large conference room which lacked ambiance, though the tables and chairs were set up nicely (tablecloths and chair covers). Price was super-fair. Lastly, ALL of the folks we encountered working the event, from the valets, to the servers, to the hosts/hostesses (Shout out to Layla), to the managers, to the station chefs (and I suspect the main chefs) could not have been more professional, cordial, and friendly. This was a terrific event that we will look forward to attending again - just hope they can keep the food and great people, and figure out how to make the entrance and seating (pre-dining experience) a little more welcoming and smooth.

We had a 1:30 reservation and were not brought to our table until 2:15. Thankfully, they offered mimosas while we waited. Food and presentation were amazing!! The room where we dined felt like a conference room. We had a wonderful Mother's Day brunch and will definitely return.

Mother’s Day Brunch. Seated 45 minutes after reservation time. Most hot dishes were cold. Prime rib and salmon overcooked. Tablecloth spilled onto the floor and was easily tangled into chair legs. We were not offered drinks until we were nearly finished with the main course. Overall a very disappointing experience; much lower quality compared to previous years.

The food for the Mother's Day Brunch was out of this world! 80 different kinds of cheese...amazing salad bar...lobster mac n cheese! It was a excellent!
