Bite 30 at Aurora at The Celeste: We are so excited that the culinary genius, Mike Trudnak, is back in action!!! You DON'T want to miss this. Mike's creations are absolutely extraordinary. The taste profiles for the dishes are so creative and the plating is pure art. For those who don't know, we was a head chef at the Ritz Carlton, so you are getting 5 star dining at a fraction of the price (especially at Bite 30 and Magical Dining). When we arrived, we had a heck of a time deciding on the appetizers, we added an extra app to cover all bases. And, our server Akasha was excellent the whole meal. The chef came out with some freshly made gator jambalaya off menu as a treat - holy cow - soooo good. Listen, I love me some New Orleans, but jambalaya was never my favorite nor is spicy food. This one, however, I could eat everyday (if it was calorie free). It was not spicy at all and delicious. The one thing I noticed about the menu was it's lean to a New Orleans flavor. I knew it would be good but I was hoping it didn't carry heat. None of it was - it was perfectly seasoned and spiced without any heat. Next up was the apps we ordered: 1. Gator Arancini - the arancini was good but the side of the grilled gator was by far my fave of that dish. I'd order that again for sure. 2. Oxtail Empanadas - these were huge and we took them back for dinner the next night. Excellent meat to cheese ratio throughout and perfectly balanced. And, I despise goat cheese. I couldn't taste even a hint of that goat gaminess. It's apparently some type of magic goat cheese. 3. Tuna Bites - Another dish I could eat every day. So fresh and light. Loved the caviar to top it off. Then, the entrees: 1. 'Fried' Chicken - The care and work that does into this dish is impressive. Chef Mike gave us the play by play - wow. It was so very good with the goodies wrapped up with the chicken and sliced. And those mashed potatoes and Brussels. Yum.

The food was delectable. Everything was done to the utmost perfection. The staff was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed every bite. The Barramundi was superb. The medallions seemed to melt in your mouth. The beignets were delicious and tasted better than those we have eaten in New Orleans. Highly recommend this restaurant. We have been here five times now and have never had a complaint or been disappointed. 👍👍👍👍👍

They were very busy because of Bite 30. We were there for almost 35 minutes before our appetizer came out. Our main courses were a bit faster but not much. Our croissant beignets came out faster as well. However, they were very hard-over cooked. But we needed to leave so we took them to go. I put in my microwave at home later to soften them up. That was only real bad item food wise. Dinner took a little over 1 hr 45 minutes.

This restaurant was amazing. The food and drinks was amazing. We had the fried chicken and it was amazing I would recommend this to everybody. The desserts were both pretty good.

I really had huge hopes for this restaurant, just by seeing the glowing reviews- and I really wanted to love it, but it unfortunately fell flat. When we walked in, it was a pretty restaurant, very clean and nice, but it was missing out on the theming (no big deal). We were seated and waited and waited and waited- for water, for menus, for anything (mind you, the restaurant was completely empty, we were one of two tables). Finally we were able to get some water and put a drink order in, and our server was nowhere to be found for a good 20-30 minutes- and we still hadn’t put in any food orders yet. Whatever, that was fine, maybe the server was just having a bad day. We put in our appetizer order of the bread service (get it, the rolls are the most perfect warm clouds of goodness) and are almost immediately putting in our meal order- pesto parpadelle sub chicken and lobster risotto. We finish up our appetizer and drinks and wait for our meals (the table we are in is small and it hasn’t been cleared of anything). Our entrees come and they looked beautiful, but do not be fooled; the looks didn’t match the taste. The pesto sauce had absolutely zero flavor whatsoever- not an ounce of salt or pepper or really any pesto flavor at all; if you had told me that it was green colored water, I would have believed you. Also, the chicken was vastly overcooked to the point it was just short of shredded. However, the lobster risotto was even worse. Nothing on that plate was correctly cooked. The mixed vegetables were completely raw, the lobster tail was still mostly translucent, and the risotto was so undercooked that Gordon Ramsey would have noticed it from across the kitchen. At this point, the restaurant was extremely loud, and we had just wanted to leave; so we decided to just ask for the check, but our server couldn’t be found for a good 20-25 minutes. Nobody came to check on us, couldn’t get the check, we were stuck. Please don’t come here. Avoid this place.

We went there for Bite 30 and had 2 great dinners. The portions were big and the food very good.

We visited to try the Bite30 menu. There were 4 appetizers, 4 entrees and 3 desserts. After Ethan’s recommendations, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Bites, “Fried Chicken” and the extra dessert, Supernova. My wife got the ALLIGATOR JAMBALAYA ARANCINI, CRISPY BARRAMUNDI and DESSERT CHEESE BOARD. Like Ethan said, the Tuna Bites were light and flavorful. The “fried chicken” was rolled up and filled with Mac and Cheese. Hot, juicy and delicious! Served with mashed potatoes and sweet & spicy Brussel sprouts. The appetizer jambalaya had lots of different flavors. Her fish was light and moist. Her cheese board was really big too. It would have been enough for both of us. BUT, my Supernova was amazing! It’s a brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top. But the ice cream is encased in a globe of chocolate. When served, hot caramel sauce is drizzled until the chocolate is completely melted. Super sweet but I liked it. All of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful if only a bit loud. Ethan was an excellent server. We are glad we got to experience it and will plan to return when we are in the neighborhood again.

Had 3 excellent meals here for short high school graduation trip in the UCF arena. Breakfast, lunch, and large graduation dinner. Great food and attentive service. Kitchen had a slower pace than preferred but we were not in a hurry and enjoyed the extra time.

they said that they were at the end of a 800 people served day and we seem to be the consequence of that. The first thing that put me starting on a bad foot was not the restaurant but maybe the hotel who had some strong smelling deodorizer that is the exact same one used at my mother-in-law‘s nursing home We were seated right away and then things started going downhill from there took over an hour from the time that we receded and our order was placed to get our food the hamburger got sent back because it was very raw and while they were quick to replace it, it still meant somebody eating by themselves. my meal while I’m not cold was lukewarm at best and I did not want after having waited so long to get it to send it back Best item of a bunch was the Caesar salad overall rating all said again, lukewarm at best another odd occurrence was I think they introduced themself as the manager but yet stated that she couldn’t do anything about and I’m not sure what it was because it wasn’t her department and that she was likely to get in trouble if she was to say something to that department. All said whatI interpreted as too bad so sad she didn’t really volunteer to do anything about it nor did it sound like she could even though she was manager. by that time i was ready to go
