Auden is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Autry Park in River Oaks. We feature a simple, seasonal menu and serve dinner six days a week and brunch on the weekends! Auden delivers an approachable bistro experience with influences of Texas flavors, Gulf Coast Ingredients and a nod to our Indian upbringing.

Located in between Montrose and River Oaks, we look forward to dinner with you.

The food, hospitality and service were all great!!! Chanel and our server Will took wonderful care of us and we really enjoyed all of the dishes. The space itself is really tastefully designed and the patio is great too. The highlights were definitely the stracciatella, octopus and the cheeseburger. Can't wait to go back and try other things as well as their brunch menu!!

The brunch experience here was amazing. Very unique menu. The paneer and peanuts dish was soo flavor filled. I will definitely be back for dinner. Service was immaculate!

The chicken 56 appetizer was incredible and the agnolotti was amazing! My bias and also loved his scallops. The combination of flavors was super interesting and delicious.

Very pretty almost a supper club feel. Food has an Indian influence. The whole branzino was very good, lamb kabobs good but spicier than expected, scallop ceviche is good but very small, consisted of 4 small round tortilla type pieces with the ceviche on them.

Positively OUTSTANDING. From the moment you are greeted to the exquisite food this restaurant deserves some serious attention Out 4 th time dining at Auden and it has risen to my top choice in the city. Ask the wait staff for recommendation They get it! Butter chicken, cauliflower dumplings deserts!! Unbelievable

Lovely new venue in Autry Park. Beautiful interior ambience with music set at a level conducive to conducting a conversation. Fantastic signature cocktails with a great wine selection. Limited food menu, but the food was well prepared and delicious. Very accommodating waitstaff. We plan to return soon.

They play their music way too loud for civil conversation. Also their choice of music more appropriate for a bar than a restaurant

I was hopeful about this restaurant, especially amidst Houston's influx of trendy eateries, but unfortunately, it falls short. While the food is satisfactory, the service leaves much to be desired. On both visits, I encountered the same server who exhibited poor etiquette by attempting to clear my plate while I was still eating, clearly looking to turn the table as quickly as possible. This rushed atmosphere detracts from the dining experience, and unfortunately, the food does not outweigh the subpar service.

Oh MY GOODNESS if there’s nothing more I love it’s good customer service and quality food. Clean attractive atmosphere great staff down to earth knowledgeable of the menu introductions to new cocktails had my palette dancing all evening. This restaurant has more of an intimate setting. It’s not as big as your typical restaurant which I loved it the food the staff, the ambience everything was incredible!

Very interesting menu items. Scallops were a particular highlight. Also the crudo was wonderful. The winelist could have higher quality wines by the glass in my view.

Delicious food with unique flavors, many vegetarian and seafood options, gracious and well timed service - structurally beautiful and delicious desserts - lovely setting, not too dark nor too loud which we appreciated! We will be back

We truly enjoyed every aspect of our dinner. We had cocktails and an appetizer (straccietella), followed by shared small and large plates (potato dumplings, shrimp and grits, brussel sprouts, scallops, cauliflower). The ambiance was nice - tables occupied and light hum of others enjoying their meal, unobtrusive music. Perfect for catching up. We will be back!

Another great meal at Auden, menu updated since our last visit and everything was great! Really enjoyed the chicken 65, crudo and caviar, the buns are a must. The Branzino and angalotti were delicious. The desserts are a must as are their curated cocktails, ticket to paradise was a hit. Desserts must have is the le chocolat, but really enjoyed the Italian donuts one too. Cool space and vibe, a little loud but fun.

Delicious! Our waiter was fantastic. He gave us great feedback on the menu and we loved what we ordered. The cauliflower, shrimp and grits, and ribeye were great. The vibe was very relaxed. Can’t wait to go back!

I came here for a Valentines date and was thoroughly spoiled with great service and amazing food. Our waitress was quirky, friendly, and answered all of our questions with suggestions! We started with the fried oysters (5/5) and scallion hotcakes (4/5). The fried oysters were perfectly fried with a light, herby, buttermilk batter. The fresno chili placed on top was not only picturesque but also added another flavor dimension and texture piece! The scallion hotcakes were to die for… with the cultured butter (extra butter please??). For entrees we got the agnolotti (5/5) and branzino (4/5). The pasta was a fusion between Italian and Indian with the tikka masala sauce. The branzino, although beautiful and flavorful, had way too many thorns. Our waitress assisted us with filleting the fish (thank you!), however every single bite came with a baby thorn, eventually leading me to stop eating the fish. For dessert we ordered the chai cheesecake and le choclat. Both desserts were amazing- presentation, flavor, and decadence. If you are looking for something light, the cheesecake is a great option as it is not really shareable. If you are looking for something rich and creamy, the le choclat is a must!

Food was delicious. Chairs and tables could be better overall quality, the table was very wobbly and the foods too expensive for that if we’re being honest. But patio looks nice and overall vibe is good. Drinks and service were also great. Will return.

Food was great but our waiter would go missing for long periods of time did not check on us regularly to refill water or ask if we need anything else. He forgot to bring my friend’s wine waited over 20 minutes before he reappeared to ask him if the wine was coming. Just a bad service experience.
