Our first time. We were very pleased! Food was delicious and the building is beautiful inside. We sat on the second level and had fun people watching while we ate! I never would've thought of this being in Auburn, but I'm sure we will visit more often now. Our waitress couldn't been Faith Hill's sister. She was very sweet and accommodating. Afterward, we spent time at the Barrel & Blaze Cigar Bar the next block up. A wonderful evening!

The ribeye steaks at this establishment, despite my appreciation for them, have consistently fallen short in terms of flavor, leaving me rather underwhelmed. Considering the substantial cost of these steaks, ranging from $50 to $70, I would reasonably expect a more pronounced and satisfying taste. While the French onion soup and carrot cake were exceptional, the majority of the other side dishes and appetizers I have sampled have been delightful. However, as a steakhouse, I had anticipated that the steaks would be prepared with greater attention to flavor and culinary expertise. The wait staff has consistently provided me with outstanding service. They are always attentive, courteous, and accommodating. Overall, I had a positive experience. However, I believe the steak could be more flavorful for the price.

Hi Tyler, Thanks for your thoughts on our two ribeye steaks that we offer. As you know, one is USDA Choice and the other is USDA Prime, the highest grade and flavor available to purchase in the country. Very few restaurants offer this option as it makes up only 3-4 percent of all graded beef. I personally cut all of our ribeyes to ensure they meet my standards, as it's our top seller. We feel we offer great value for the quality of beef we purchase and that our meal price includes salad and side options. Many other restaurants charge ala carte which may make you feel the "steak" price is high. I just wish you would have mentioned you weren't happy when you were here, as we would have prepared another one for you. Next time we will be sure to exceed your expectations. Bob Lebamoff, Owner

Unfortunately my 5th time back was disappointing. First and foremost, Haley was incredible. However felt horribly sorry for her as she was taking care of what seemed like 6-7 tables all by herself including bussing, bartending and serving. This is unacceptable for ownership to expect that of anyone. GET SOME HELP! As for the food, well, this was also disappointing. Normally the meatballs are incredible. Yes this time they were tasty however one serving was luke warm at best but the other was what we remember - hot, flavorful and succulent. The devil eggs were also weird this time. In February they were amazing however last night it seemed they were loaded with honey mustard, weird color and just not what we have experienced in the past. Now for the steaks, well this is why you don’t go near the end of the night. I heard of resting a steak but they seemed to be resting for 30 minutes. My Medium Rare Plus Delmonico came out just this side of shoe leather and very fatty. My son’s NY Strip that was supposed to be medium rare came out Medium to Medium well. My daughter’s and her friend’s Strips were supposed to be Medium were Medium well plus. Lastly my wife’s filet was done to her liking. We don’t even want to talk about the murdered broccolini. I will say that the cesear salad was great but you don’t come to a Steakhouse for salad. As for flavor, well this was the first time I have had to add salt and pepper to my steak at an establishment that charges $44-$55/steak. Like I said, Haley deserves a medal and if we go back we will ask for her every time. She’s a true professional. We will also make an earlier reservation next time, if there will be a next time.

It was a very nice dining experience with primarily and attentive waitress, although there was some confusion at the end with the bill since we were given the wrong one. However she was able to straighten it out although it took a few minutes to get her attention and there was some concern that another patron might walk out with our credit card.

We decided to support local for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! I had been there for lunch several times but we had not been for dinner. Great service, large portions, classy spot for a nice evening out.

As always, our experience at Auburn City was perfect. We brought out-of-town guests and everyone agreed it was wonderful. We requested Haley as our server and she always takes such good care of us… even gave us hugs!

Last night we both tried the Prime Rib special for the first time. In fact it was the first time we have ever had a special here and we were not disappointed. The dinner was perfect again. The salad, dinner and dessert were all just right. We will go back again

If you’re looking for an excellent dining experience Auburn Steakhouse is the place!! The ambiance is perfect for fine dining without the pretense. The food and drinks are perfect w an excellent select of both. Wonderful night out.

Great food and service. Our only complaint would’ve been the table they sat us at upstairs had comfy chairs for lounging, not super great for eating. They needed to be about 6 inches taller. We felt like the table was in the middle of our chests.

The prices are what would be expected for high-quality food and high-quality service. It’s pricey for my personal budget, but worth every penny when we have an occasion to celebrate. I can’t recommend Auburn City Steakhouse enough!

First time visiting Auburn City Steakhouse. Nice atmosphere. Food was very good. We both ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly for us. The Sommelier was extremely knowledgeable, the wine list was interesting and offered wines we will definitely be trying in the future. Overall, great first experience.

We had an amazing dinner to celebrate our engagement. Food was excellent , waitress was on point and atmosphere was nice a quiet! It was a bit pricey but nice for special occasions.

We have gone here alot. Love it ...usually. I don't know what's changed or if the popularity has caused issues with the standard? We dined for Valentines Day WITH my out of town parents, (table of 4) it was not a pleasant experience. The calamari, was as usual...amazing. outside of that...not so much. My husband ordered prime rib, the texture was so bad and unlike anything we have ever had, he literally couldn't chew it and spit it out. Totally un-chewable. They brought him a ribeye instead, ordered medium to be safe, it came out PURPLE rare. The waitress first noticed and then it was sent back to be re fired. At this point he didn't eat it, because he was very anxious over the whole process. We left the to go box and all. My filet, mid-rare was no seasoning whatsoever and was like the texture of dried out roast beef. The baked potatoes were ABSOLUTELY terrible and cold and multiple tables around us complained. Never did the manager or anyone come to the table. We ordered dessert, carrot cake and creme brulee. Cake, delicious. They unbeknownst to us gave us the $8.00 dessert for no charge for the trouble. So so happy that they have gotten busier and thriving, the quality control is definitely not what it once was. We were saddened.
