ATX Cocina experiments with the boundaries of Mexican cuisine. We have taken traditional Mexican dishes and elevated them with modern approaches and techniques. Corn, the basis of the Mexican cuisine for thousands of years, is also the foundation of our kitchen. We nixtamalize and process our masa in house sourcing it from heirloom varieties of corn grown by small family farms in Mexico.

Food was good .. unfortunately, we were seated behind the hostess stand, which was quite noisy and distracting.

Service was great. Food came out in a timely manner and everything tasted delicious! Def glad we got the enfrijolada as a substitute for the tamal. Also, one of the best Caesar salads in town.

Best First experience ever customer service was fantastic! The food was even better just outstanding flavors I will definitely recommend to try again and for first timers go check it out you won’t regret it! :)

Brought my family for a celebration dinner. Food was creative and beautifully presented. Absolute perfection. Drinks were fantastic. My daughter who doesn’t drink alcohol really enjoy the mango mock-tale. We shared a 42 ounce ribeye that was family style along with a blue crab dish. Both were excellent. Our service was great as well. Our waiter was well informed and helped us navigate the menu. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have always enjoyed ATX Cocina and have had many dinners here. We always recommend to others when coming into town and love to take our guests. However, our experience tonight was less than enjoyable. The food and drinks were excellent but our service fell short. Our order was taken and the food came out very quickly but our server did not return to our table for almost an hour. We sat without water and were unable to order additional drinks due to the amount of time we spent waiting to request our next drink. We understand things happen and it was busy, but once our server did return the wait was never even acknowledged. Unfortunately, this is not the experience we were excited to share with our guests and we left very disappointed.

The is was such a fun place to celebrate my anniversary. Their small plates were fun to share and the flavors were exceptional. They even brought us some Champaign and a scoop of ice cream to help us celebrate. We sat on the patio which was lively and covered in case of bad weather. 10/10 recommend!

We were seated on the patio, which is a lot quieter than indoors. Made having a business conversation much easier. Food continues to be outstanding! Really loved the tacos de atun appetizer and the crab stuffed relleno. Very attentive wait staff (thank you, David!).

Every part of this dinner was perfect! The Himachi crudo was decadent and the sauce killed! The surf and turf with a pecan crusted carne asada and whole roasted fish couldn’t be matched! To top it off, our server David helped to elevate our experience. He was not hovering, but somehow was there as soon as you needed something. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

Absolutely incredible experience. From the service, to the food, to the overall ambiance. Everyone working here seemed to take such pride and moved with purpose. Restrooms were spotless. Our server (Taylor) was engaged, helpful, knew the menu inside out and back to front. I couldn’t find one thing to critique and since I work in luxury hospitality, this is a really unusual thing for me! Plus, it’s 100% gluten free - a dream for my celiac needs! Food and drinks were all wow moments for me. Can’t wait to return!

We either dined on an off night or things in the kitchen are just off. While the soaps were outstanding, the short rib was dry and mealy and the pecan crusted steak was not cooked to a medium rare. In fact it was cold in the center. The brussel sprouts were fine as was the octopus. Overall, the meal was worse than forgettable, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.
