We had an excellent experience at the Burnaby location. The chilli rub cowboy steak tasted delicious and not too spicy. Nice hint of spice. The duck breast was nicely done. Nice crust and cherry sauce . Our server was very engaging and professional. Highly recommended

Our waitress was outstanding. The meal was delicious. The topper was they brought my husband a piece of cheesecake for his birthday. Would highly recommend.

We had a private room and very good service. Food was great but not the best. Server Kim was great and always attentive to requests. Private room was awesome, and would recommend for more than 15ppl in your group. Ambience was exquisite. Awesome experience.

Beautiful piano player. Steaks have a very mild Smokey taste you can’t get anywhere else. Friendly staff and good vibe.

Leah is an exceptional server. Outgoing, attentive and prompt with excellent customer service skills, she made our dining experience very enjoyable. There were five in our party and we ordered the ribeye steak, tenderloin, the pork chop, ahi tuna and salmon. The Caesar salad was prepared tableside as well as the chilled seafood salad. Two of my dinner mates ordered the chilled seafood salad for two, however, after it was prepared it was served on one plate. It was just odd that a dish for two would be served on a single plate especially when the guests were seated at opposite ends of the table. Other than that, everything was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals, it was an excellent dinner. We are returning customers and we look forward to our next visit.

When we arrived, the music was extremely loud. It was difficult to hear the person across the table. Thankfully, when asked, the waiter turned the volume down. In what universe is it pleasant to have to listen to noise while dining? The clientele in the restaurant didn’t include anyone under 55! Check your audience!!!

Food as always was excellent!! Ambience is also excellent. Service was slow!! Our server clearly displayed frustration through her body language. We had to ask other staff to get our server several times during our visit. We've not ever experienced poor service at Atlas in the past. Server was overwhelmed as it was busy.

What another great dining experience here, our server Antithea (spelling/apolgies?) was nothing short of lovely, knowledgeable, friendly & really made our evening again. I fondly remember her serving us the last time, as she recalled also. So professional in her abilities & wonderful old world customer service. The piano player is such a wonderful accompaniment to dinner, and food is of a very high quality, beverages & wine choices by the glass are very good. It is a favourite spot for all of these reasons!!!

We love Atlas! Kim was our server and she was exceptional. We enjoyed the live piano music played by a gifted performer. One of our favourite visits at one of our favourite restaurants.

1st time to Atlas for our dinner group. We had a great time. It is very beautiful, great food, and service was good however the food did take a little longer than expected and 1 starter didn't come out. Restaurant was great about the food and brought out 2 complimentary starters and then an extra starter for the 1 forgot. Pianist was amazing!

We have always enjoyed our meals at Atlas Restaurant. The servers are always very attentive and it looks like they enjoy working at the restaurant. Love the ambiance!!!

Food was amazing, I had the truffle tenderloin and my sister-in-law had the tuna. They brought a special birthday dessert for her...so thoughtful. Service was attentive, polite and fast...I just wish I remembered her name.

We've eaten here before and the food offerings are still wonderful. This is an upper end restaurant so yes, you'll be paying a premium but it's well worth it, especially if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion. Atlas advertises itself as a "steak and seafood" restaurant but I suspect that it will be steak that most people are looking at to enjoy (although the seafood offerings look intriguing as well - I may just try those at the next visit!). Caesar salad was prepared at the table - a nice nod to old school service. The mains are attractively presented but be aware that side dishes are served "family style", meaning that those are basically a la carte. Nice choice of craft beer on tap as well as an extensive wine list. Nice desserts too. A complete dining experience. Totally recommend.

Went twice during the week - once for steak, the other for the prime rib. The rib steak (blue) was a tough piece of meat ($87) - that was my birthday dinner. We went on Sunday for the prime rib. We reserved for early seating 5pm so we could enjoy the happy hour then get a rarer cut of prime rib. Apparently, there was only medium pieces - a mistake made by kitchen when prepping it. I opted for non-meat but highly disappointed at a place specializing in steak.

Went there for my birthday, I’ve always wanted to try this place and I wanted to do it on special day. The ambiance was so lovely, we were seated in a cool area where it’s near the pianist and we enjoyed the experience and the food we ordered was delish… i would like to come back and try the happy hour.

This was our 3rd visit to Atlas Steak & Fish restaurant at the Grand Villas hotel in Burnaby. I can truly say that this was our worst experience! We were a party of 4 and were seated in the back of the restaurant by the windows with the air conditioning blowing right on top of us. We asked to be moved but we're told the restaurant was full. There were many empty tables including booths. A large party of 8 were seated next to us, arrived after us. We ordered our wine, which arrived quickly. The server took our orders and took the next tables at the same time. We sat for over 40 minutes waiting for our appetizers while the table next to us received there's almost immediately. Once we received our appetizers, which were cold, we ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, we were told our main courses would be up soon. The table beside us had finished their appetizers and were served their main course. We sat and waited for another 40 minutes for our main courses. When they arrived, the steaks were cold and under cooked, the Ciopino was cold as were the prawns and shellfish. We also ordered the Lobster Spaghetini which was also cold. Meanwhile the table next to us were finished their deserts and had paid their bill. They had had dinner and were out of the restaurant within 2 hours, which is what we had anticipated. The food was flavorless, cold and overall unappealing. This restaurant is expensive and we felt that the food did not measure up the price. We commented that we would have been better off going to The Cactus Club, at least the food us consistent. This is a hotel restaurant now, unlike the atmosphere in our previous visits with whit linen table cloths and a sense of pride. We will not be returning and will be spending our $500.00 elsewhere. We could have ordered the same type meals with the sane noisy environment at Cactus Club for much less. It's too bad, this was a good restaurant with great food.

Everything was great, except the gentleman who hosted us at the front was not friendly. Made all of us feel like not welcoming, made us feel the food not tasty just only from the hosted looked down on us. Actually he ruined our dinner. However, we paid for the food $700, however the server who took care of our table was amazing.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at ATLAS, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was incredibly attentive. The Prime New York Striploin was beautifully seasoned, and the Pork Chop, ordered medium, was cooked to that perfect tenderness. But what truly stole the show were the sides. The Whipped Brie Mashed Potatoes were beyond words. And let's not forget the Mac + Cheese - the rich flavor was spot on. Overall a very pleasant dining experience, whether it's a special occasion or just a night out, you won't be disappointed!

Kim was very friendly and has a very helpful demeanor. Truffle fries were particularly good and portion sizes of all dishes were fantastic. A good experience.

Celebrated our anniversary there, the restaurant was amazing, nice ambiance, live piano music was nice, server was pleasant, food was amazing, really loved my mixed seafood platter, wife had beef tenderloin, everything was delicious...then without notice the server brought us a nicely decorated (free) anniversary desert plate....thanks for the memorable evening...

Very chill location with a relaxed attitude. Friendly staff doing their best. Great food. $255 for 3 people with no booze for dinner. Great to have the live piano and warm ambience. Great to enjoy bonding with family and being with others doing similar.

Our waitress was very polite and efficient. We kept our waitress busy by ordering a good number of food orders. The food was delicious as usual. We had a great dining experience overall. I highly recommend Atlas Steak & Fish BURNABY.

I had the best birthday ever! Thank you atlas for booking me at the private room. It was such an amazing surprise. Me and my family loved the privacy and like that we can actually hear each other when talking. Hayley is such a fantastic server! Super polite and amazing at connecting with people of all ages, shes just great at communicating and making sure all of our needs were addressed and catered. I couldnt ask for a much better server. Food was oh sooo yummy too. Tomahawk steaks are superb! Atlas will always be my favourite restaurant.
