Great food and service! Everyone is friendly and helpful, just right level of choice. Mimosas were on point also. All in all a great brunch. Recommended!

Brunch at Atchafalaya is spot on! The cozy atmosphere, consistently delicious food, great cocktails and friendly service are hard to beat. The Tuscan egg dish and the redfish were flavorful and fresh, and the breakfast risotto was hearty and satisfying. The “green” Bloody Mary is unique and a hit with our crowd. We’ll continue to return to this hometown favorite.

Perfect setting. We celebrated a birthday and we’re so very pleased. Service staff- Harold was wonderful. Met Tony the owner who was very gracious. Will be back in a heartbeat!

We had a fabulous lunch at Atchafalaya. Each dish was artfully created and every mouthful was a melody of flavours. Drinks were very well chosen, service was great, and the ambience was very nice. I can't rate it highly enough!

Excellent service provided by the entire staff. Our special occasion was recognized appropriately and all if our drinks and food selections were delicious! I would highly recommend Atchafalaya!

We made a return after an OK recent visit and it was just fantastic. The decor and general vibe have always been top-natch; the art on the walls, the front bar, the step-up to the other room, all of it adds up to one of my favorite spaces in New Orleans. The service has been routinely friendly, timely, helpful. Our server helped me decide between the pompano and the redfish (the evening's special); I chose the latter, my wife chose the pompano and were both thrilled at the simplicity and the rest of the plate. My son loved his chicken and andouille gumbo and I loved my crabmeat and corn bisque. My only quibble was the buttery noodles for him were a bit overly buttered and the honey glazed Brussels sprouts were a bit too rich (though a common occurrence with roasted Brussels sprouts these days). The desserts were exquisite -- the Mexican-inspired ice cream sundae was a crazy mix of subtle and complex flavors, and my friend was dazzled by the bold blue cheese flan. (Somehow, it worked. Trust me.) Oh and the Sazerac was perfectly prepared, and that doesn't always happen even in the best of places.

Wonderful food in a casual atmosphere. Atchafalaya is at the top end of Cajun/Creole restaurants in New Orleans, which is saying a lot.

I really wanted to love everything about Atchafalaya and it was the service that got us started off on the wrong foot. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and we sat and waited and waited and waited hoping that a server would come by and greet us while she busily went to every single table around us - not a word, nothing. We waited some more and then finally called over someone (who we later found out was the owner) and asked if we could put in a drink order noting that no one had come by to greet us or ask if we wanted drinks. He was apologetic and took our order. One of the 2 beverages arrived and the other we waited for and waited for and waited for until finally someone else came by to say that the bartender "had vacated his station" and it would not be much longer before the beverage arrived. The other beverage finally arrived and the night carried on. The food was delicious (although very heavily salted, very) - chicken gumbo, fried oyster salad, steak, red fish special and bread pudding - a lot of food was ordered! I want to believe that it was an off service night due to how busy they were - everything else was lovely!

Really enjoyed our experience here. Had the shrimp and grits, they were delicious. Oh and the goat cheese salad was amazing. We will definitely come back here next time we’re in NOLA.

Friendly arrival experience and seating immediate for a reservation. Server had southern charm and was friendly and efficient. Another server stopped by with a recommendation after overhearing part of our conversation. They didn't have the bottle of wine we ordered but made a comparable recommendation which we took. Chicken and Sausage Gumbo was excellent as was the Fried Green Tomatoes with crawfish on top. The Shrimp and Grits was the best I've ever had. My wife's grilled redfish was also very good. The Bread Pudding with Salted Caramel Sauce was to die for. The manager stopped by to check on us. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Fabulous experience on a busy Jazzfest Weekend! Corey was our warm & well-informed server. We enjoyed Bleu Cheese Oysters (special), the Crawfish Bisque, Chili-rubbed Berkshire Pork Chop, & the Filet….All of which were divine! Chef Chris & Tony were amazing as well!! A+++

Atchafalaya is our annual tradition during Jazz fest. Our visit to NOLA is not complete without a meal here. Last night was no different- simply a marvellous experience that straddled across good food and great service in a setting we can never get enough of. The oysters were SPECTACULAR. What topped everything was the service with a smile - Thank you Team Atchafalaya for being who you are - among NOLA’s finest

If you havent tried it you’re missing out on a NOLA gem. The team is amazing and the food is always crazy good. Some faves at our brunch table were Duck Hash and the waffles. bloodies always perfect.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious. I had the fish, and my wife had the pork chop and we shared the blue crab raviolo appetizer and finished off the night with a 10-year-old port. Everything was stellar and we definitely plan to return.

From start to finish everything was perfect. Drinks we superb, fried green tomatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had! The chef sent out a super creation of a deviled egg with a perfectly fried and still hot oyster on top! The raviolo was decadent, red fish special was perfect, the duck leg was outstanding and the bbq shrimp and grits was something special. We tried 4 of the desserts and one was better than the previous! Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Atchafalaya has been on my New Orleans bucket list for years and I’m so glad we made it happen this trip. The staff is exceptional and the food and drinks are exquisite. We enjoyed the Tuscan eggs and breakfast risotto for brunch along with strawberry mimosas. I wish we were staying in NOLA longer so I could try everything on the menu.

We’ve dined here several times and this was absolutely amazing. The pork chops were the best I ever had. Our other guests who had worked many years in the food industry also loved their food and were very impressed with the professionalism and management skills of our server, HD.

Everything was amazing. From the gumbo and ravioli to start, to the red snapper, shrimp and grits and redfish, and the bread pudding to finish. There are so many restaurants in NOLA, but this one is worth the trip.

We dined here for my husband’s birthday brunch and it did not disappoint. The fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had. Very light and crispy on outside and juicy inside. Fantastic drinks. I loved my bacon Bloody Mary. My husband got the Korean fried chicken sandwich and I could not stop stealing his delicious fries. We can’t wait to come back for the shrimp and grits. Service was cheerful and excellent even though they were packed.
