The chef spent a significant amount of time at every table answering any question that the patron may have. He talked about wine paring to food selection and ambiance. The waitstaff was very attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Book a lunch date here for my friend’s birthday and Oh my Goodness, the service here was immaculate. Gacian was awesome. The owner Casey kept checking up on us . Food was delish and price very fair. Will definitely be back.

I picked Astor based on the great reviews and my curiosity about the dishes on the menu. This place did not disappoint. I live in the Memorial area and typically don’t venture too far west of Beltway 8 but the experience was so good that I hosted another dinner 2 days later. Chef Casey greeted everyone at their table and passionately talked about the food. Every dish that we had was beautifully prepared and delicious. The wine selection was impressive and we really enjoyed the South Africa wine that was paired with our meals. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

Wonderful Mothers Day meal. Terrific meal, great service. Chef Casey came out to welcome everyone many times. Will definitely be back often!

Everything we ordered was excellent. Service was wonderful. The recommendations from the server were spot on and ensured that we ordered what we would enjoy. I especially want to mention the fish which was the freshest I have had in USA since I left my homeland 30 yrs ago. The presentation was very good also as was the a companying sauces, esp the Wagyu sauce. The only complaint I have is that the tri-meat samosas had the same apoearance, nothing to differentiate them, and the servers did not know either. That totally negates serving 3-meat samosas when the eater cannot understand what meat he is eating. Suffice to say not everyone can differentiate between buffalo, vension, and antelope. The shape of each samosas should be distinct so that the server can tell the diner which is which. The owner also honoured us with a free dessert after hearing we plan to go to South Africa and Botswana. Overall it was a most pleasant dining experience.

This steakhouse is a diamond in the rough. After traveling in the world and looking for the delicious flavors that we have had in South Africa and various parts of Latin America, we definitely found them here. The African Sampler was perfect because it reminded us of the authentic flavors of Cape Town. The bobotie was perfect and the billtong was actually real and so delicious. We also enjoyed the king clip, the seafood platter, and the Churrasco steak. All of them or magnificent. We all cleaned our plates completely. I will definitely return to this establishment. The owner was very warm and welcoming, and the ambience was like an old NYC restaurant and made us feel super comfortable. The live singer was a nice touch and the patio made us feel like we were not even in the city.

After 15 minutes there was still nobody that came to our table to help us. We had to fly down the manager just to take our order. We ordered breakfast which included pancakes and eggs, and somehow it took another 25 minutes to make. The service was absolutely terrible.

We apologize that you feel that the good service and the food was not up to your expectation. Our manager and a waiter assisted you to provide the best service. Easter Sunday we had a full house and our food is made 100% fresh. With over 250 guests the normal wait was 30-40 minutes, and your dishes took 25 minutes. To provide high quality food we cook fresh and on order, none of our dishes are pre -prepared. Have a blessed day.

Had a great experience at Astor Farm for Easter brunch! My family and I went here before church and were so grateful for the experience. The environment was warm and inviting, the music playing was so sweet, service and food were amazing! My daughters got to meet the chef and take Easter pictures- this place was so inviting, my husband and I can’t wait to return for a date night!
