This was our second visit to Asterid. We took my mother for Mothers Day brunch. Our experience was not great mostly due to the cocktails and food. 1 chicken dish came to the table undercooked and raw. We had to send it back to the kitchen so it could be remade. The cocktails were not that tasty either. Service was at least courteous. This was an unfortunate experience because our prior visit was so exceptional.

Maybe it was just an off night but it took our server quite a while to acknowledge us and then still was not very attentive. One meal came out and we waited another 5-7min for the other. The food was good but very small portions and rather high prices.

Easy dinner before a show at the Disney Concert Hall. If you don’t select the prix fix menu and go a la carte, it’s a limited selection. We had a lovely salad and pate to start and a delicious lamb and chicken entrees. Service was attentive.

Asteroid was a great place for a pre-concert meal. The lunch options were varied and interesting. The asparagus risotto, Milanese chicken and roasted carrots were perfect for sharing. The wine we ordered complimented the meal perfectly!

Excellent food but disappointing service. Told we could not have hot coffee because the kitchen had run out of cups. Took 20 minutes for a cold dessert (rice pudding) to be delivered to our table.

Went for lunch before LA Phil, food was good, but was served without utensils and napkins, had to ask for those while food sat in front of us. Same thing when coffee was served without cream or sugar and had to ask to bring to table….surprising and disappointing since reviews all raved about service. Best advice would be to go when paid by someone else or expense account…$100 for 2 dishes, tea and coffee and 1 dessert (Budino which was excellent!).

The prix fix was quite good especially the black cod. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food served. My wife and i have dined here before and have had a great experience each time. Would highly recommend this place for people who enjoy very good food.
