This restaurant has the same issue with unnecessarily long ticket times as the last restaurant in this space. Our meal was over 90 mins with entrees only, despite being one of about four tables. Their food was pretty good, once it came out. Our server never put in our appetizer. In fact, our server did very few of the basic steps of service. He was very nice. I liked him fine, but I expect more from a fine dining restaurant. It is simply a service issue here, again. Decent food but slow and untrained service that make the experience not worth the money.

We had a party of six. Everyone loved the food and cocktails. Our service was incredible! 10/10

Fantastic meal and service! The chef came out and greeted us personally, as well as prepared us a special celebratory dessert. All FOH staff was top notch. Cheers to you guys!

We really wanted to like Assembly. The space is nice (though some of the interior windows needed cleaning badly) and tables well spaced, so no one is sitting on top of anyone else. The acoustics of the dining room weren't great; it was hard to have a conversation with the echoing noise. Service was pretty slow in the dining room, though there was a lot of server action in the bar. That might be the better place to sit. The mussels were excellent, but other dishes left a lot to be desired. The pork belly appetizer was bland, though we liked the picked cucumber. The club sandwich was lightly grilled and greasy. The mac and cheese was pretty dry and not creamy. Maybe what we experienced is the expected hiccoughs when opening a new restaurant and that the quality will improve with experience.

Our experience seems to be about the same as others. The food was good, flavorful and prepared well. Service is just SO SLOW. Our waiter was polite, but it just takes so long to get any food or drinks. We also didn’t realize before we went that it is the restaurant attached to the Hilton. Made for some very loud company at the hotel bar.

Nice atmosphere, right downtown. Food was great. Both the manager and chef came to our table to ask how everything was, and it was all amazing. Highly recommend!

The drinks were ok, food was not great. We ordered a strawberry shortcake, it was dry and didn’t have a lot of flavor.

The area looked a bit bare, with cheap tables and chairs and it was quite cold. Service was good, our server was very personable. We had tater tots which were very good. The pork belly was just ok. Grilled cheese was very good as well as the walleye and fries. Over all it was pretty good but not enough that we would go back. Especially after paying $15 to park.

Food was delicious! Server was kind,l. There was to much time time between courses. Restaurant was cold, breezy. Next time I would probably get the food to go. Staying in hotel.
