Our talented Chef Manny Castillo from Cancun, MX and his team, created an elaborate ensemble of traditional flavors of North, Central, and South Mexico using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Food was not great, but music was. We ordered some steak, and it was average - it was chewy. If you are looking for great steak, this is not your place. If you are looking for live music (mariachi), have some average food and drinks, this is a good place. We also ordered smashed potatoes, and we felt it was prepared poorly. We probably will come back but order outside of the steaks menu.

I want to love Asadas, and maybe because this time it was Mother's day... Told our server we wanted the buffet for brunch and then never saw her again for several minutes. No direction at all, so we went to the buffet. No plates, and so I went inside to the cold salad area and found a plate, only to go back to the buffet where there were 6 different stations of where there should be food. Opened all the lids to find crumbs of food. This was at 11 AM. About 10 minutes later, they started to refill the dishes. My husband went to the line to look for sugar for his coffee, and the person working said, ask your server. Would have been ok, but we hadn't seen her since the beginning. Come to find out, the coffee was already sweet. That could have been fixed if there were some direction or server around. I understand that it is a buffet brunch, but we don't have to be completely ignored if you think we aren't going to tip well. The food was just ok. The fruit and salad looked great! If we go again, I will definitely order from the menu.

-food would come out closer to cold that hot -plating seemed unnecessary -amount of salsa provided was very limited with chips for the table

I had expectations of a much livelier atmosphere but there was hardly anyone there -wait server was slow but since we weren’t in a hurry it ended up ok Also - I’ve never been to a Mexican Food restaurant and had to pay additional for chips and salsa This was an ok experience but would not go out of my way to come back

Had a reservation. We were sat in a section inside without a waiter. The hostess came over after 10min with water and 6 chips and salsa. 10 more minutes to get our drinks which were then wrong. Finally an actual server was assigned to our table. Service didn’t get much better. Long wait time for drinks, food, and even just a refill of chips for our salsa. Do not recommend. Food was fair. Pricey for what it was.

The service was not so great I can easily say it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in the area our food took almost 2 hours to come out and came out cold while other people that ordered the same thing but theirs came out still sizzling I was very disappointed in the restaurant all around

Food was undercooked, portions are small. However we did receive our food pretty quickly. The ambiance was great and they had live music. We had to wait a while to receive the check after they took our plates. 2 drinks each 2 plates of food with 1 starter dish, "was queso" = $175 They automatically include a 20ish% tip but then gave me a receipt with a pen as to try and get more.

The restaurant itself is run down & poorly cared for especially the bathrooms. The food was good (except the queso) but the prices don’t match as they are extremely high & in my opinion not worth it. I had the trio enchiladas and those were good. I would not return here based on the atmosphere.

A step above TexMex. Shrimp Ceviche Tostadas were excellent. Great Mexican drink options. The Pipian Mole Chicken has authentic flavor. Friday night live music gave a nice, fun vibe and patrons got up and danced. No pressure to leave after eating so it's a great place to be with family or friends.

We are regulars at Asadas. It’s really nearby our house so very convenient and affordable. Food is really good, as well as service. Cocktails are delicious too.

Visited in November 2023. Food was terrible. Mostly inedible. The little I could actually eat made my stomach sick. Alcoholic drinks weren’t good either.

We had a great meal and experience overall. However, the live music was way too loud — we could hear each other. It would have been perfect if it were two notches lower. The food was delicious and the service was great. Please lower the volume of the music until 9PM or 10PM and the evening would be perfect!

The Atmosphere was awesome and food was good. The value was good considering what all we purchased. One thing that stuck out was the fact they tried to upsell a super expensive food platter for $260 and was kinda pushy about it. Outside of that it was a wonderful time and a great experience.

The service and the drinks were fantastic. Anthony, our server was very nice and attentive to our needs. The food was just ok, ordered my $35 Asada steak medium & it came out raw on the inside. After sending it back 1/2 came out medium other half still raw. On top of that the meat was EXTREMELY chewy. My wife ordered beef fajitas and it came out warm, not sizzling and the onions and peppers where barely cooked, almost raw. For the quality of food we experienced, it's over priced.

Everything was good except our waitress maybe she was new. I’ve been here many times and water wasn’t brought out and when she brought out the queso she didn’t warn us on the temperature of the skillet. I have a huge burn on my hand

Most of our 7 person party liked their food for a business dinner. When the waiter engaged with us, he continually highlighted that they were known for their grill. I choose to try the picanha steak med rare. It came out looking a bit sad. When I cut into it, it was raw even at the end. Inside was still ice cold, and outside was browned but still cold. Had waiter take it back and requested he not bring a replacement. Ordered the Special Mashed Potatoes, and when I asked the waiter what was special, he stated nothing. When they arrived, they had bacon, which was good. Beers on tap were not working. Ordered one bottle of Dos Equis, and when i ordered a 2nd 20m later, I was told they were out of multiple bottled beer as well. Service was very slow as well even though the restaurant was only about 40% full. If If I return, I will stay away from the grill and try an enchilada.

The food and drinks were very good although overpriced. The problem was with the poor service. The server was very mellow and forgot to bring the sides ordered by my friend. We ran out of water and our server could not be found. Also, the management allowed a child to continually jump up and down on the empty bench seats adjacent to our table, directly next to me while we were trying to eat. It was highly disturbing.

Great overall experience as always! We tried the green enchiladas this time and they were outstanding. So tasty and just well done. They are definitely my go to entree from now on. Highly recommend!

Unlikely to eat there again. There was nothing particularly wrong about the restaurant, food, or service but nothing special about it either. The salad bar was a very weird and out of place addition to a “traditional Mexican” restaurant. A salsa bar would have been more appropriate especially since the amount of chips and salsa provided before the meal was meager. My chicken enchiladas were fine. The salsa verde was so tangy that it was almost metallic tasting and the chicken had essentially no seasoning. My wife enjoyed the tacos but not enough to justify the $20 they cost. Our server repeatedly pressured us to go to the salad bar at the beginning of our meal and then disappeared after collecting our plates. We sat around waiting for the bill for at least 15min. As I said, overall a mediocre experience and not worth trying again.

The food was unique and definitely tasty. The portions are quite large, about ~$35/plate. I would love to see restaurants start creating options for smaller portions and bringing the prices down—it’s too much food! ;) Raul was our server and he is amazing! We enjoyed chatting with him & learning the restaurant is Jalisco style. There was also live music! A little overpriced, but you can tell they try to create a positive and polished experience. I think we would go back. No salads on the menu for the ladies, but there is a salad bar option.

Made a reservation for inside and were seated outside. We mentioned it to the host, and they persuaded the birthday girl to sit outside to hear the music (it was over 90 degrees outside). We had called earlier to inquire and were told the music would start at 6pm on this date, which is why we made a reservation for slightly before 6pm. When we sat down, they said it starts at 7:30pm. Items in our entrees arrived in four different deliveries spanning 30 minutes. Food tasted okay but is all overpriced for what it is. Some training and oversight from management would go a long way here. Wanted to like this place but have tried three times and it is always like this.

First off, hats off to Raul. He was such a kind server and helpful. This place is beautiful on the outside and inside. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options for the whole family. We tried the salad bar, ceviche as a table, fajitas, and camerones en chimichuri. My whole family was stuffed and enjoyed everything. I’ll have to come back to try some of their cocktail items and other menu items.

Service was good, our waiter was very polite and sweet. He had recommendations and was prompt. However, the food had no seasoning. Everything was very VERY bland. Even simple things needed more salt. Drinks were not very good either.

Our server was continually trying to upsell the most expensive items on the menu, which is fine in moderation… but everything he recommended was $75+. The Paloma was good, but the frozen margarita was not. It was also odd to have a salad bar. Our waiter was a little misleading because he mentioned that the salad bar was included with the special (that was $150), but did not mention it was included with each entree until after we had finished eating. The food was subpar, the environment was odd. Probably will not be returning.

We will not be visiting again. The food and drinks were expensive for what we ordered. It was very loud, almost to the point where we couldn’t hear each other, and the staff was all over the place.
