We had a wonderful experience at Arnaud's ! is service was truly continental and the food was delicious. We felt taken care of 100%. Is it the finest food in New Orleans, probably not but it is very, very well done and this place is a classic. Thanks to the staff who made our visit so enjoyable.

A special occasion spoiled by super mediocre, pricey food. Mine was inedible. The service was fine but this is a tourist trap. Go elsewhere

Enjoyable experience and perfect location. Table host Myra was exceptional; her assistance and attitude added to the enjoyment of the evening. Our server Chance was steady throughout but needs to smile and loosen up. Repas délicieux! The venue is lively and fulfils the demands of a French Quarter location.

Absolutely delicious. Got the escargot, shrimp, oysters and the filet (So tender I used a butter knife to cut it). Absolutely recommend!

The water, butter and salt were perfect. We also ordered the oysters, crab cakes, veal and potatoes. The staff work VERY HARD, they hustle the entire time, however it still took almost a half hour to get our first drink. If you are a foodie, this is not the place for you. If you are into experiencing an historic restaurant it’s ok. They do have a display of Mardi Gras dresses and historical articles, pictures and paintings that weee GREAT to learn about their history. I would stop in for a glass of wine and an app to experience the history. We made our reservation on Open Table for our Anniversary, which was never mentioned, seated in what felt like the children’s section, the “captain” and her crew tried, but it’s obvious they have an assembly line method.

Arnaud’s is Arnaud’s, so we had a lovely time. The food was next-level. I was thrilled that there were so many menu choices I could enjoy with my shellfish allergy - very difficult in many New Orleans restaurants where shrimp and crawfish prevail. The service is really what sets Arnaud’s apart, and we were treated like royalty.

We are in New Orleans for a few days and this restaurant was highly recommended - it did not disappoint. Great ambiance, tasty dishes and excellent service. My other half loved it and they also did a special thing for his birthday which was lovely. Check it out when next in New Orleans.

This restaurant is a must if visiting New Orleans. The attraction is lovely, the service excellent and the food delicious. It is obviously on the expensive side but worth it for the experience. Recommend the shrimp bisque and pontrachain fish

Fabulous meal. A great way to experience traditional New Orleans upscale dining. Four of us all had different appetizers, entrees and desserts and each was amazing. The service is top notch. Have a drink in the French 75 bar before dining for another incredible experience

High end dining, amazing food, drinks and service. That being said it is also the most comfortable and pleasing service I've ever had. Nothing snobby or pretentious, and I don't think we've ever laughed so much in our interactions with staff at a restaurant. Just a wonderful experience on every level. And ask for Jasper as your waiter. I've never had a better waiter.

Amazing place for dinner or brunch! We came for Sunday morning jazz brunch and everything was delicious. The service was top notch, the music was fun, and the food was absolutely stellar. Do not miss the Cafe Benoit - what a treat!

The service was impeccable. The wait staff is well trained and knowledgeable. First courses very prompt. Main course a bit delayed. A second roll to accompany main course could be offered. Flaming dessert options a good thing. Noise level was almost uncomfortable as the evening wore on but overall an excellent experience

Service was slow as molasses But friendly and kind. Noise level was terrible. Took three hours for dinner. Three hours at that noise level was too much.

We went to Arnauds twice on our trip- I had studied the history and was highly anticipatory of the Brunch and dinner. Brunch was ok- Crab cheesecake was phenomenal but the crab cakes were poorly mixed so one was crabby and bland the other bready and over-seasoned. We waited 25 minutes for a cocktail- had food before drinks- and acted as if that was ok. Dinner was NOT a good experience. The noise level was outrageous. It's a hard room all wood and rock and metal and nothing soft. Everyone was screaming and there are about 30% more tables than should be in there. Service has trouble getting carts by tables, even. We were seated at 6:55 and at 7:25 didn't have cocktails or anything but water. Another large table seated next as same time but for a restaurant such as this we NEVER should have sat so long without anything. Service is working their tales off- there are simply too many tables. The Pontchatula fish lacked flavor all around. Doesn't come with a side so order of mushrooms: tiny bowl with a hard cold layer of cheese. The soft shell crab taste was good- the okra was absolutely abysmal. Three okras in there and one was a top. Tomato paste and too much seasoning it was not good. The crab dip appetizer was amazing. I am not saying not to go there; but I never will again. We spent $350 there this week for dissatisfaction.

This is just one of the iconic New Orleans fine dining experiences. Each time I have been here I have enjoyed myself. Everything is fantastic and what you would expect from a fine, established restaurant. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Terrible service. Annoying service. Cold Eggs Benefict. Pretentious atmosphere, reminiscent of racist history with white clientele being served largely by people of color. Press clipping from National Enquirer on wall. Ugh!

After waiting 15 mins for our reservation, we then waited 20 mins before we received dinner menus, we reported it to someone. Augie saved the day. Michael, was responsive and went and got Augie for us. Then they gave us a new person, Myra. Charles also stepped up to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Food was next level, service was classic. We did have to wait over 20 minutes for our reserved tabled but were able to grab a seat at the bar for a pre-dinner cocktail.

We had the best experience with both the food and the service. Jeff, the waiter captain, went out of his way to tell us all about the history of the restaurant, and took us through the museum within the building. The food was amazing, but the hospitality from Jeff made our evening!

We love everything about Arnaud’s! It always guarantees a fabulous ambiance, some of the very best food in New Orleans, and top-notch service! It’s definitely the splurge worth making on any trip to the city!

I hosted a party of five Friday April 26th. The ambience delivered "Classic New Orleans", the food was spot on (even for the two vegetarians in the group), and the service was formal and familiar at once. Our servers (Doug, Jeff, and Tyrone) were professional and personable. That is a difficult thing to achieve. Clearly, they are true masters of the hospitality industry. Bravo!, gentlemen. You made us a memorable evening.
