Indulge in a brunch buffet fit for a queen, featuring a seafood station, specialty salads and pastries, breakfast foods and entrées like pan seared salmon and chicken scallopini, plus 12 hour braised short ribs, roasted prime rib and Szechuan pepper crusted swordfish off the Santa Maria grill. And don't even think about skipping dessert!     The food was amazing, we had the wagyu meatloaf which was divinely decadent! The margaritas were fragrant and refreshing. The brocollini was bland but the other sides we ordered weee delish, baby carrots, man and cheese and the beet salad all were stellar. Flavorful and plenty enough to share. The restaurant gets locals alobg woth its hotel guests which makes it a nice plave in terms of a xozy, vibrant atmosphere.

    They were out of a lot of items but the food was decent. I wouldn’t steer clear but I also wouldn’t go out of my way. Service was very good.

    We were excited to celebrate a birthday here, but were incredibly disappointed overall. Our server was fantastic, thank you Patrick for being great. However, apparently the kitchen was so backed up (with the restaurant being only half full) that our food took an hour and 15 minutes to come out. When the food arrived it was cold. To the point where the cheese on pasta had turned hard. They were completely out of two main entrees (Wagyu meatloaf and salmon) that we had picked this restaurant for. Overall we wouldn’t come here again. Plenty of other amazing options in the area, this wasn’t worth trying.

    The food here is always wonderful! They change their menu seasonally but keep some staples. Wonderful staff…one gentleman whom I’ve seen there before even ran something we left out to our car last night. And he was a great conversationalist. Our server was wonderful, too. Delicious, chef created food. We love it.

    This is our 2nd time to Arlo for our Anniversary dinner and left a little disappointed. The waitress was lovely but the service and food were not impressive. The restaurant was not busy or full in the least and yet our meals took so long, came out incorrectly, and we were told their sourdough bread was “still frozen and unavailable”. What?? Then as we were waiting for our steak to be cooked from raw to medium someone brought out the sourdough. Also we noticed there was not a big change to the menu since the last time we dined which was over a year ago.

    Returning to Arlo I find they have a new chef. The Menu has been downsized a lot. Not the wow it use to be. Most of the dishes were very good. The only disappointment was the mac and cheese. It was not very cheesy and was served luke warm. In my world, Arlo went from being one of the best restaurants in town to just another hotel restaurant.

    We dined here for breakfast & enjoyed the experience. The food was well presented & tasted great. The setup of the restaurant is open & inviting. The ambience comfortable & quiet. The kind of place you can go with a large family party or friends & enjoy a meal without having to talk louder to deal with the noise. Overall a happy dining experience & helped set the mood for a great rest of the day. We'll be back.

    Great food, ambiance and service, especially for the price point. The location is a bit strange but plenty of parking (they validate) once you navigate to the Town & Country. Saturday evening and it was empty so please go try it out, especially if you are visiting/staying in the Mission Valley Hotel cCrcle area - would hate to see this place close up!

    Our group arrived at 12:30pm for DJ brunch, not realizing they close at 1pm. There was 1 other table of guests. The waiter was friendly, but service was slow for such an empty restaurant with plenty of staff. 4 of us loved our dishes. The other two loved the flavor but their food was cold. Not warm, cold. Maybe it’s offseason or we were just the last table to be seated?! I’ll definitely be coming back for DJ brunch and a pool party when the weather is warmer.

    Arlo had great coffee and breakfast food. Rebecca was an excellent server and was fun to chat with. She even made me a special espresso drink after I asked her what her favorite drink was. I would like to come back for another meal but was only in town for 2 days. This restaurant is very convenient for guests of Town and Country.

    For a $90 per person Easter brunch, I was expecting a better quality of food. The aguachile’s cracker was stale, the desserts were dry or stale, and the eggs were powdered eggs 🙁. The saving grace was the seafood and the meat station. The ribs were great, and the strip sirloin was super tender. Service was also excellent; servers were attentive, and all buffet stations were filled fast, but I wish the food were better. There are better restaurants in San Diego. I only wish to book another restaurant earlier, but I booked a week before Easter (my fault). It's not worth the trip.

    Went here for their Easter buffet. Everything was good, nice variety of food, best crème brûlée I've ever had and a lovely olive artisan bread. It was actually not terribly loud considering. It would have been nice if the server asked if I wanted more champagne or if my son wanted anything to drink besides water, and a couple of food items were so-so.

    Place was empty only 2 tables were occupied. Had the pressed waffle crossant and they served it with the sirup already on top, so it was too sweet for me.

    Food was good. I had the salmon with asparagus and lentils. Service at Arlo is poor. Waited forever for someone to take our order and, at the end, to bring the check. Repeat experience at breakfast the next day. Left without ordering because no one came to our table.

    The food was good. Our waiter Patrick had a lot to be desired. He was slow, inattentive and overall lacking. While the food was good it took a long time to get through dinner. I realize some dinner service should be long. For what this restaurant is it should not have taken 2 hours 15 min for a simple meal. At the end of the meal it took getting his attention to get the bill. After the meal was served he disappeared. Go for the food go for cool vibe and hopefully you don’t get Patrick.

    I ordered the Spot Prawns. The prawns were very overcooked and tough. I sent my dinner back and ordered the Hamachi. The flavor was decent, however the portion size was ridiculously small. I have worked in the hospitality industry before and am familiar with portion size. I doubt the amount of hamachi would fill 1/8th of a cup. Given the disappointing prawns and delay getting my the hamachi, I would have expected that our server would have offered me a complimentary glass of wine or dessert. I love the setting but could not and would not recommend ARLO to anyone for a meal.

    I love Arlo. John is so kind and accommodating. Patrick went above and beyond to keep us safer. Drinks were sooo good as was the jydori chicken and the sea bass with muscles. A flavorful banana cake pop and baked Alaska with blackberry ice cream. This is one if my favorite places in San Diego.

    Nice atmosphere with well presented interesting menu. Service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately on the night we dined a large party brought their own Mariachi Band which was too loud and made conversation difficult, but am assuming this was not a typical occurrence.

    I had the sea bass. It was fine, nothing crazy. Flavor was fine, small portion, small clams. My friend had the bolognese. It did not present how either of us thought but it was tasty!! (Almost in a bread bowl type thing!)

    Went for NYE with a few people, the ambiance and vibe was fun with the live band, but for what came out to be $300/couple, it was just OK. Two of the petite filets were overcooked, and the rest of the courses were good but not great. We are going to come back here on a normal night to try it out, but with them being busy and a lot going on, I feel like the service and food quality suffered a bit. The resort is really cool though!
