Arlo Grey is the LINE's lakeside restaurant by Top Chef winner, host , and cookbook author Kristen Kish. At Arlo Grey, Kish and Executive Chef Alejandro Munoz dig deep into the bountiful ingredients of Central Texas to create a mix of dishes. The restaurant reflects Kristen's playful yet refined cuisine, pulling inspiration from her classical training as a well as nostalgic dishes that highlight her upbringing and love of travel. Come by for a casual, comfortable experience and a menu designed to nourish the soul. Reservations are highly recommended. Valet-parking is available for $10 for 3 hours with validation.

Top Chef winner Chef Kristen Kish’s Arlo Grey will celebrate the Chef’s first season as host of the acclaimed TV show with an exclusive weekly dinner and Top Chef viewing throughout Season 21. Beginning Wednesday, March 20th, the exclusive dinner series invites guests to the intimate setting of Arlo Grey's private dining room, where Executive Chef Alejandro Munoz, will create a three-course menu for guests to savor in a convivial family-style setting. Each week, one course of the menu will undergo a delightful transformation inspired by the theme of that week's episode. In addition to the multi-course meal, guests receive a signed copy of the evening’s menu from Chef Kristen Kish to commemorate the experience and a take home sweet treat

Portions are small but we did a handful and shared the tuna crudo needs to be served with chips or crackers The pasta was really good . The ambiance I did not like it’s so dark inside they need better lighting it’s not a romantic type restaurant so it felt very somber with the darkness . Food was good not the best I’ve ever had but good !

Service was much to be desired. They added a dish we never ordered we were just thinking about.....they were pushing on us and then delivered by someone else where we couldn't dispute the order. Then they kept rushing us through the meal when there was no need as the place still had many open tables. Food was slightly saltier than needed to be...

The service was excellent, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, the wine selection could be expanded and improved. The sourdough and Malfadini pasta were outstanding, as was the burger patty. While the crispy rice dish was lacking in acidity and flavor, the saffron aioli made it overly heavy. To enhance the dish, consider adding crunchy chili oil, sesame seeds, pickled ginger, and more cucumbers. Additionally, the inclusion of haricot verts seemed out of place and clashed with the other flavors.

We had a lovely dinner at Arlo Grey. The food was outstanding! We had the crispy rice, rabbit dumplings, and halibut and all were so delicious! We were celebrating my husband's birthday and were seated at a beautiful table with a nice card for him! Would definitely recommend a visit!

Infinite stars!!! Everything is perfect every single time I visit here, I feel amazing leaving Arlo Grey. Already wish I was back!!!!!!! Kristen Kish is the absolute best hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aldo Grey was the first of our culinary journey in Austin and we were very excited for the experience. Service overall was slower than expected and our server forgot to bring our drinks. The food however, did not disappoint. It was creative, different from the norm and delicious! We ordered too many dishes, but enjoyed them all anyway. I would recommend checking out Arlington Grey if in Austin!

All of the food we tried was amazing, as was the service! Very nice atmosphere, cozy seating, and so neat looking out through the trees at what was going on outside. Would definitely go back!!

Thought we would try it since we were in town. Personal expectation was high. Not exactly sure what I expected but this was not it. Went with price fixed menu, since four of the items would have been what would have chosen. I found that char-grill flavor dominated a number of the items and the number of competing elements caused a confusion with my palette. Waiter was nice but not very interactive so overall experience was dampened a bit. Saw other staff very engaged with their tables and that was nice to see. Space is very open so sound levels with patrons and the music was a bit distracting. Finally, the staff seemed to set up a makeshift office/break room in the southeast corner of the restaurant. My table was right next to this and the activity was visible to me since they chose not to close the curtain. I could also overhear their conversations and laughter. Staff would go in and out, joking loudly and having breaks, and eating.

Beautiful space with great views. We had attentive service from Krista, who had a clear passion for food and people. She was the best part of our experience! The food was delicious and everything was so intentional. The crispy rice was our favorite dish! Overall a fantastic time.

Although the food and drinks were slow in getting out to us, our server was very apologetic and gave us periodic updates throughout the process. When we did get our order, it was great! THE best burratta I've had in my entire life, and the steamed buns were inspired. Happy to support a queer owned business.

Food was good, service poor. Took 20min to get a server to our table. By that time , we knew what we wanted. We knew what we wanted and ordered right away. Received our first course within 5 minutes. We had no utensils, napkins or water. Received our cocktails. She left so quickly we couldn’t ask for water. Server never came back. Finally stopped a random member of staff to ask for everything. Took 40 minutes to receive water from when we sat. Took another 30 minutes to receives next courses.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal experience starting at the bar where the bartender created an alcohol-free cocktail for me that was sumptuous. Everyone was fantastic. Kevin was a fabulous server who enhanced our meal with his guidance and explanations. It was a delightful evening for us all.

Disappointing experience overall. Made a reservation weeks ago, was told they overbooked and I had to sit at the bar. The food was very underwhelming and bland.

Food was delicious, but the fact that all dishes were family style was not explained to us upfront. Waiter seemed surprised when we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 grain dishes to share and said we should get chicken dish too. Restaurant was half empty and service was still not the level it should have been for this price point. No mocktails or N/A beers on menu. We skipped dessert so we could leave.

Hostess wasn’t very friendly at first but eventually warmed up. Waitress was great but service was fairly slow. Lighting was pretty dark it was hard to see the menu (this is coming from someone in their younger 30’s who enjoys a moodier dinner ambience).

Ambiance was somber and dark when from pics I thought it would be bright and fresh. Food was, well, missing something? Flavors didn’t pop, verging on bland. Is that beet we’re eating? Burrata served way too cold, mushrooms underneath could have been a lot of things as well. Halibut and cauliflower were better, but not great. Sat at a large booth which was fine, but after scooting back there realized there was a TON of food crumbs we had to wipe off our pants and the cushions. Gross. Service? He could not have cared any less. Was he upset with us? His job? Life in general? It was amusing but in a sad sort of way.
