Arlo Grey is the LINE's lakeside restaurant by Top Chef winner, host , and cookbook author Kristen Kish. At Arlo Grey, Kish and Executive Chef Alejandro Munoz dig deep into the bountiful ingredients of Central Texas to create a mix of dishes. The restaurant reflects Kristen's playful yet refined cuisine, pulling inspiration from her classical training as a well as nostalgic dishes that highlight her upbringing and love of travel. Come by for a casual, comfortable experience and a menu designed to nourish the soul. Reservations are highly recommended. Valet-parking is available for $10 for 3 hours with validation.

We came to Arlo Grey with friends and had a nice meal. Food was good. Really enjoyed the endive potato salad. It was unique and tasty. My main complaint is the lighting. It got so dark in the restaurant and the lighting was insufficient. There’s ambience and there’s dark and this place was dark!

Our server Eddie/Tacos was amazing. They were funny and informative, and me and my family had a really great time dining there. I will for sure be back!

We've been several times, it is always a consistently excellent experience with quality food and for downtown Austin actually relatively reasonable. Great place to share some plates and some fun drinks. Excellent server (Taco) with great recs and attitude.

Going to Arlo Grey was at the very TOP of my list for my first ever visit to Austin and it did not disappoint!

We were celebrating a “Bon Voyage” and the staff took the time to acknowledge our special occasion with a glass of prosecco! The food was amazing as I was excited to taste the cuisine of a “Top Chef” winner! Our server, Taco, was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and an all around fun time! I will tell everyone that visits Austin to definitely grab a table at Arlo Grey! Brava!!

Took a friend for her birthday, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Seated by the window. Welcomed with complimentary champagne. Friendly, professional service. Three DELICIOUS courses plus desert from the prix fixe menu. Just outstanding. My only quibble is that our server disappeared for quite a while after I ordered a glass of wine, which didn’t arrive for almost 15 mins. Other than that: flawless.

Our server, Taco, was absolutely spectacular. He made us feel so welcome and was incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes. We loved all his recommendations and he even explained how we’re supposed to eat the food to optimize taste and textures.

My husband and I had a last minute date night and decided to visit Arlo Grey. The gentleman at the hostess stand was warm and welcoming so we figured that’s how all of our interactions with the rest of the staff would be like. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case with our waiter Kevin. He was extremely cold and not accommodating. Me being a people person, tried to lighten him up a bit but he did not explain menu items, showed zero emotion, and just made us feel uncomfortable. We had to send a cocktail back a few times and ended up just ordering wine since you can’t go wrong with that. He seemed irritated with that. Then we had to send back the fish entree as it was not pleasant to eat with a super fishy taste. The rest of the food was wonderful though, especially the ribeye. We asked for the dessert menu and he just slapped it on the table and walked off without saying a word. A manager was not sent over nor was anything taken off the bill or a dessert offered. (We still ordered two different desserts.) If the service from our waiter wasn’t so bad, this review would have been a lot better.

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at Kristen Kish’s latest restaurant, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and attentiveness. The ambiance was elegant yet inviting, setting the perfect tone for a special evening. The food was simply superb. Each dish was a delightful combination of flavors and textures, beautifully presented. It was clear that Kristen Kish has knocked it out of the park with her restaurant. Her creativity and expertise were evident in every bite, making it a truly memorable culinary experience. Our server, Taco, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. He even made my husband feel special on his birthday, adding a personal touch that made the night extra special. To top it all off, Executive Chef Alejandro Munez came out to our table to personally greet us and wish my husband a happy birthday. It was a wonderful surprise and a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to making every guest feel valued. Overall, this was an amazing dining experience. From the exquisite food to the exceptional service, everything was perfect. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a remarkable meal and an unforgettable evening.
