California native John Fraser, who is spearheading the food and beverage experience at The West Hollywood EDITION, has created signature restaurant Ardor as a showcase for vegetable-forward healthy California cuisine with flavors inspired by local ingredients. Recognized as one of the best vegetable chefs in the world, Fraser’s menu features an artful balance of produce and meats, using techniques from around the world and products sourced hyper-locally. Each dish is made with organic ingredients and focuses on the essence of food, prepared simply and presented socially for a contemporary culinary journey. Live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.

Reservations are seated based on availability at arrival and are allocated 2 hours to dine once seated. Reservation of 5 or greater will be allocated 2.5 hours. Full party must be present in order to be seated & we allow a 15 minute grace period.

An 18.5% Staff Charge Added to all Checks and is Paid Entirely to Service Staff

Ardor is excited to launch an indulgent new brunch experience unlike any other. Guests will partake in an A La Carte menu thoughtfully crafted by Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser. Our menu effortlessly balances Ardor’s hyper-local, produce driven core with playful takes on familiar favorites. Please note: an 18.5% staff charge will be added to your bill for parties of 8 or more. The staff charge is paid entirely to service employees. Taxes are not included. PERFECT. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the ambience quiet and energetic without being over the top , the service was great, the desserts, I can not say enough. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back.

It was a Monday so restaurant was quiet and felt empty. Service was attentive until cocktails were forgotten but wine was comped in ileu. Food was tasty. No flexibility when I asked to exchange one side dish for another. Lights tuned on bright at 10pm which I assume was a prompt to leave

This is a beautiful space and the food was very good. The service was extremely slow and several thing that we requested were either brought very late or not at all. The server was very friendly, but I think that they were extremely understaffed for a Saturday night. That was very busy. Also, it was a bit difficult to find because it is in a hotel and no name is visible and the address of the hotel is difficult to see. So a member of our party several blocks past it, and wasn’t able to find restaurant

The food at Ardor is good, but not great. The chef overdid the acid in both my dishes. Prices are high for the both the food and drinks. And, beware, the valet is $22 even with validation. Take an Uber if you go.

The food was super underwhelming and overpriced. For a vegetable forward menu you would think they would add more flavor to their dishes. Everything was bland and boring. They asked us to order all at once and they would course it out. All the starters landed on the table at the same time. There are other way better options for a nice dinner out in LA.

I loved the ambience, such a pretty place with all the lovely indoor plants. We didn’t order lot of food as we went late night mainly for drinks and small plates. Their vegetarian risotto was very different and tasted amazing. In dessert, hazelnut bar was sooo yummy. Initially server took more than 15 minutes to come & take our order but once they came , service was also great. Overall great vibe.

Had a really great birthday dinner here. Food was very good but not elite. However the service and ambiance really made up for it. Had Michelin level service. Multiple people wished my girlfriend happy birthday which made her feel special. I really appreciated that! Sam was our waiter and he was top notch and ensured we made it to our show on time.

When our server heard that we were only ordering 6 vegetarian items for 5 people, they stopped giving us any time or attention and said that we were eating "very light"- which frankly was exactly what we wanted. It was a casual Tuesday night and we had the intention to also get drinks and desserts (which we did throughout the dinner when we finally got their attention). The server just completely avoided eye contact with us as they walked by our table, even when we would wave a hand or call out to them. Other staff were very kind. It just felt that our server was frustrated not to be getting a bigger bill that night, even though the drinks and desserts did ultimately rack up a pretty large bill.

We absolutely loved Ardor! The cuisine is original and flavorful, not to mention delicious. Our server Gideon was the best, solicitous and helpful as was Tim. The setting cannot be topped - love just love those plants!!! My only disappointment was the two white wines that I had by the glass (true I did taste them first, but I'm impatient by nature so I drank them! I can't wait to go back. Oh I I have to mention how serenely quiet Ardor is!!!

The food here was excellent! Loved the milk bread and highly recommend it! The king crab pasta and crispy fingerling potatoes were amazing! And our server Gidian was awesome! Would definitely come back!

beautiful room, excellent service. Nice and quiet, but not at all empty feeling. intimate. Small but interesting menu. Located in a hotel, the only drawback was the valet parking; adds $32 ($22 fee + tip)m, plus there was quite a wait after dinner to get the car. The valet area is too small, there was a bottle neck and traffic jam.

This is my fourth time dining at Ardor and it never disappoints. All the vegetable dishes are insanely delicious, and I’m not a vegetarian. This place deserves more recognition.

Went for prix fixe Easter brunch, so this isn't a normal review of their regular menu... but the dishes served were outstanding quality, the portions were substantial, the ingredients were fresh, and the cooking techniques on-point. I'm surprised it was so good for a hotel-based restaurant. Will definitely revisit to try their regular ala carte menu.

Afro was a lovely restaurant with excellent food and excellent service. A little expensive for what it was but the value was ready to be seen in the overall experience I would recommend this place to anyone.
