Welcome to Ardallan Kitchen, a casual dining bistro set in a converted Victorian Stable in the heart of Felling, Gateshead. We provide a warm and inviting atmosphere with modern décor and a private courtyard with an ornamental cherry tree to enjoy the finer weather.

At Ardallan Kitchen, we take pride in providing delicious and locally sourced food. Our menu is inventive and generous, with something for everyone – from Homity Pie and Whipped Feta on Toast to our scrumptious Blueberry Pancake Stacks and Cinnamon French Toast. Our coffees and desserts are always sensational, and our friendly and attentive team will ensure that your visit is truly memorable.

I love this place. Great menu for something substantial or for coffee and cake. The premises is super clean and lovely decoration. Highly recommend it.

Lovely place with a nice ambience. Staff very friendly. Only marked down slightly because of the wait and mix up with drinks. Quality of food is very good and coffee is excellent (when you get the right one) this was rectified and we got a refund for the wait for it so not really complaining. Will definitely recommend and visit again soon.

Went out of their way to accommodate us with prams and high chairs. Provided plastic plates and cutlery for my toddler and were friendly and engaging throughout. Food was great and all my friends were impressed with the setting, food and the staff.

Once again, a lovely breakfast at Ardallan Kitchen. Everything about this place is brilliant. Tried something new this time from the special board and was not disappointed. Beautifully cooked and fresh produce all at a reasonable good value price. Delicious coffees and desserts too. We will continue keep coming back to this little gem.

Visited with friends on Saturday lunchtime and what a little hidden gem this is. The place was warm and inviting and we were greeted by a lovely lady who seated us on a great table where we could see out into the courtyard. The menu is small but there was enough on it to choose a delicious lunch followed by a sweet and everything was reasonably priced. A great little find for lunch or even just to pop in for a coffee and cake!
