Appalachia Restaurant brings an upscale-casual experience to an intimate setting. With stunning views and a cuisine that offers an Appalachian flair, you will be immersed with the true spirit of Lake Lure.
Dinner at the restaurant begins at 4:30pm.
We bring the Appalachian heritage from the outdoors in while dining in front of the stunning 525 million year old mountains. Inside, outside, or bar room dining, you will have a gorgeous view of Lake Lure and the Appalachian mountains. Boats Slips are first come, first serve. Due to the small volume of tables, we cannot accept preferred table/view requests.

One of the best dinners we’ve ever had. The ribeye steak was amazing and so were the shrimp cocktail and pork belly. Drinks were good as well.

Food was outstanding as we had the special rib eye steak plus the wedge salad. Beautiful cozy lodge with great view of the lake and mountain's . Only negative is they charge for bread.

Will hopefully return soon to this gem! Beautifully executed presentation of delicious meals. Service was impeccable! Comfortable, classic and authentic setting with great views. Nice for a special occasion.

Had a very lovely Mother's Day lunch at Appalachia. Service was attentive, food was delish, and the very was absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful setting, looking out on Lake Lure. The bartender Jen was fabulous and fun to watch her magic as she made cocktails. Great wine choices and a fabulous meal!

Inventive menu. Just a delicious meal from start to finish. Lovely waitress who took excellent care of us. Highly recommend.
