Tavern est le troisième restaurant du duo du chef Suzanne Goin et de la sommelière Caroline Styne, qui possède également un restaurant Lucques et un bar à vin AOC. Ceci est leur avant-poste de l'ouest de Los Angeles, qui sert de fief local pour les habitants de Brentwood. We came here for Mother’s Day. The staff/service and the food were outstanding! My elderly mother couldn’t stop talking about how much she enjoyed her experience. We will be back!

Great brunch! Nice selection of dishes! Crab omelet and Shrimp Louie were fantastic. Sticky bun with caramel and walnuts is one of the best things on the planet!

We previously came last summer for L.A. Dine Week, had chosen AOC Brentwood, and had a great experience. We were there on 5/9 to celebrate my birthday. The food and service were excellent. The server we had last summer, Chris Brown, remembered us and said, hello. Super nice. We had a different server and he was nice too. Great atmosphere, a beautiful bar, and great food. We'll be back.

Food was very good, although the portion small. Kind of salty but less than I ‘ve had in the past so maybe they’ve gotten the word from other patrons. I pay it, but, I don’t believe in any surcharge to cover employee health benefits. That should come out of the price of food which is high enough. Even politically correct Santa Monica charges 4% not the 6% at AOC. AOC probably can’t do anything about it but paying sales tax on the surcharge is absurd.

AOC was a pleasant surprise...staff was very helpful and nice. The food was quite good and the wine list was impressive. The waiter helped with suggestions and had a great sense of humor. Still trying to figure out what AOC stands for...

Excellent food with a wide variety of choices: meat, fish, vegetables; salads galore. beautiful desserts. Good wine list, and interesting cocktails and "Free Spirits" (non alcoholic beverages). Mediterraean feel. Food beautifully plated. Solicitous service. Went at 5:30 pm, seated at a quiet table, as requested. Noise level low until 6:30pm when the room became quite busy. Would recommend this restaurant for an easy meal, or an occasion.

Our service was exceptional. I had the Moroccan chicken salad (had to fish around a bit for the chicken) and it was tasty. My lunch date had the clams. It was lunchtime and the decibels were high. I’ll be back.

The entire family loved the restaurant, the food, the ambiance and the service. Dana, the server was super engaging and the manager made sure all were very comfortable and well cared for. We were celebrating two Bdays and got a ton of food. More than what we needed due to the celebrations but everyone loved it all.

I had the sea bass with curry which was terrific. Partner enjoyed scallops. I had a bite…also delicious. Good citrus salad. Lovely waitress. All good. Repeat customer.

AOC remains one of our favorite restaurants but the service was below par, we kept having to ask for things that should have come automatically. We'll be back but hope the service improves.

We often frequent AOC Brentwood and AOC West Hollywood, so my family knows the menu well. The restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine. The food is consistently very good and offers a varied menu. The new pork and lentil dish is absolutely delicious and should be further promoted as a new item, but the one skewer with five or six tiny bites is hardly sufficient for one person. I would suggest having your server point out the new dish and increase the portion size or add a second skewer for the same price. Some of the other protein dishes are the perfect size for sharing between two people when paired with other dishes. Nonetheless, it's always a treat to visit, and the wait staff are consistently articulate about the food and bar menu. The food is usually delicious. Overall, dining at AOC is a pleasure.

We had not tried breakfast at A.O.C. because my partner doesn’t really like breakfast foods. Here, I discovered you can get a burger at 10 AM! It was so pleasant to have good service which, these days, seems to be rare. Our waiter was great. The latte was perfect. The crab omelet was delicious. The citrus pavlova was a wondrous combination of flavors and textures. It was not too sweet to eat before noon. I recommend everyone has it as an after breakfast dessert.

We were disappointed to have a reservation and be seated in the bar area. The table was crowded & servers apron string would hang on table & unintentionally bump chair. Table seated after us had their server arrive promptly to take a drink order while we waited 5 more minutes. He was knowledgeable on menu & recommendations but slow to check back. Food was very good.

You can not go wrong with anything you order! The bacon wrapped dates—oh my! We had salmon, scallops, fried chicken and gnocchi—all outstanding. Delicious wine and tasty cocktails. We highly recommend!

Took 10 mins for waiter to introduce himself and give us water. Favorite item is now off the menu. Just not great service and food all around.

Food was outstanding and service exemplary! Can’t say enough good things about them, suffice it to say it was one of the most flavorful dinners I’ve ever had. We had an early (6pm) dinner on a Saturday night and despite some reviews, the restaurant was quiet enough for normal conversation. We’ll definitely be back for more.

Our server was fantastic and had great suggestions for our dishes and wine - felt like we had great value for the price points and no one walked away hungry which can be a challenge with ordering small plates (either too much food or too little). Highly recommend the mushroom focaccia, the fried chicken, and we had a great pinot (forget the name). Ambiance was warm and charming, had a great time catching up with some friends over dinner.

The server colored our experience. She wasn’t terribly helpful with the menu and was quite condescending when asked about the parking lot. We had never been to this location and weren’t sure how the validation worked. The food was fine. Some was better than others. Avoid the quinoa dumplings.

Overall such a lovely lunch! Definitely very expensive for burger and chicken and waffles (about $70 total). But it was a special occasion, and the staff was so nice! We were going to eat outside but when we got there and realized it was just metal tables on the sidewalk, we opted for indoors, which was a really cute decor. Burger and fries were fantastic. Chicken and waffles came with prosuitto which was a nice touch. They validate parking, but we found a street spot so i'm not sure if it's a full validation or partial, or which lot it validates from.

Been a big fan since the early days of AOC in its first mid-city location. If you're in search of seriously delicious dishes that play homage to the best of So Cal's bounty in a great space this is your spot. Never disappoints!

Food was meh, for the price. Overcooked, and steak very small portion for hanger steak . All food was brought out except the steak which took 15 more minutes after the other meals. so our food was all cold by the time we all were served. We liked the seating and the ambience was nice. Also note. All dishes come Ala carte, so if you want a veggie or anything that’s extra. Not good value and nickel and dimeing. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

Staff was friendly, helpful and attuned. Food was and drink were yummy. We were seated in the bar and it worked for us as we didn’t have a lot of time but I’d recommend getting seating in the main dining area for better ambiance. We will definitely return to this restaurant. Highlight was staff. Accommodating, very friendly and warm.

The five-piece cheese course, the citrus salad, the clams, the scallops, and the Spanish fried chicken were all so delicious. It all paired brilliantly with the alborino!

Delicious food and good service. Highly recommend the Molcajete beverage. The small plates were well portioned and delivered at nice intervals. Roasted vegetables on the Farmers plate w hummus were scrumptious. Oxtail was savory and unctuous. Chicory salad was also very tasty. Oven roasted chicken came w a nice portion of veg and half order was plenty for four to pick apart. All in all a successful meal enjoyed by all. Thanks and cheers!
