This was a fantastic restaurant to bring my mother, visiting from out of town, for mother's day celebrations. The covered patio is such a comfortable space for family dinners! In terms of the dining experience: 1) the drinks were superb, from the green goddess to the fizzy lemon whiskey drink, everyone was thrilled with their order. 2) the service was also outstanding, as our waiter (Ryan) spent an unprecedented amount of time with us to make sure we enjoyed the menu. Because of his help, we were able to order exactly the dishes we were in the mood for. 3) The food was great - we especially liked the Tagine, fried dates, and Spanish Fried Chicken. The vegetable sides were likewise delightful.

We have celebrated Mother's Day dinner at AOC (and before that Orso) for 26 years and the fact we haven't missed a year speaks volumes! The food is consistently delicious, flavorful and timed perfectly. We have never had a bad waiter/server and last night was no exception. A very warm greeting on arrival and we felt really special with all the attention we got. Thank you all very much.

Fabulous food every time, A.O.C. never disappoints! Fresh seasonal ingredients, beautifully prepared, and large portions. Great to share dishes.. Highly recommend the Farmers plate starter. Salads are always terrific. Tonight there was a delicious fish tagine entree. It seemed a bit noisy inside but I always sit in the outdoor patio which has a lovely ambiance, heat lamps and is quiet. They also now provide a small blanket/shawl for the back of the chair, or to wrap yourself in, for extra comfort and warmth.. Friendly staff, great service. Good selection of wines by glass.

One of my favorite spots in LA. Great for groups of 4 or more that don't mind sharing small plates (ala Tapas). Lively atmosphere adds to the festive touch. I was also appreciative to the wine suggestion from the manager who was very knowledgeable of their vast selection. Great for all appetites, including vegetarians, which my wife was thankful for.

The best food and service possible. The concept of smaller plates worked exceptionally well. The entire staff was not only spot on, but friendly and engaging. A definite repeat for us.

Welcoming and flexible with excellent food and service. All staff wanted to be sure we had a fine time and meal. A complementary glass of champagne celebrating our event was generous.

Unfortunately some of the worst service we’ve encountered in a long time and we eat out often. It kind of ruined the rest for us. Update: Once AOC was made aware they more than made up for themselves. I do understand everyone has a bad day and I appreciate their efforts.

AOC has always been a “go-to” restaurant for all the right reasons- food, food, food, service, service, service, ambience, ambience, ambience. I must have dined there +20 times and it just keeps getting better. And, NO, I was not paid for this review. I am particularly “gushing” with my comments this time because my wife and l are dealing with stressful external forces in our life and AOC provided a little quiet from the storm and performed perfectly in every way. One of the best meals we’ve ever had there. Kudos to all!

We were graciously treated by the hosts when it turned out our reservation was for a different day. They accommodated us & found a way to seat us quickly. The food was delicious, as always, with the staff describing specific dishes and wines by the glass with great knowledge & appreciation of the desires of the table.

Very nice dinner~ casual. Super yummy food; we ordered four dishes, all different, all delicious. the small plates are meant to be shared and come out in no particular order. The wait staff was nice, but uneven. Our original server greeted us with menus and then was nowhere to be seen for 20 minutes. It was not crowded. Her colleague took our order, so maybe they do not have stations abut all work together? That said, the food was delicious and served the correct temperature. Our reservations were at 6:00p, it was pretty quiet when we arrived, becoming quite noisy when we left at 7:00. I imagine when full it would be difficult to carry on a conversation. It was a lively and fun place

I come here regularly. I've written great reviews. Sometimes it's not great. I had a bunch of different vegetable options and they were basically flavorless. The seasonal pea dish was bland. The cauliflower was bland and the chunks were huge and undercooked. It's gotten worse over the years. Should be cut into smaller pieces. The broccoli was also bland.

Waiter was amazing! Food was magnificent. Beautiful space! Perfect place to catch up with old friends. A little noisy but not in general, just aloud party next to us.

The food is always excellent-creative, delicious, and fresh. The waitstaff is superb- attentive, helpful, friendly. Michael is always a treat! It was my birthday and I was treated royally. Great fun was had by all.

There was a special Easter Brunch Menu. We enjoyed a dungeness crab omelette & french toast. Each was well prepared and a delicate balance of flavors. The staff was supportive & attentive without being intrusive. It was a delightful experience.

It was the perfect Easter brunch with my family and friends. Tried different cocktails this time and the Green Goddess remains my favorite. Farmers plate was a nice treat. Entrees were tasty and satisfying! Very appreciative of the perfect booth we were sat at🙏🏻 overall a wonderful experience. We’ll be back again

Thank you AOC! The server and manager were very accommodating of my dietary restrictions as I recover from a gum surgery. They went above and beyond to offer suggestions and answer each of my questions about the menu. I definitely recommend AOC for a wine night with amazing tapas.

Best place in town, food amazing, service was incredible, managers always pleasant and friendly. Wine was so delicious. I could honestly come here and say send me the menu with the best wine!
