We were celebrating a 70th Birthday and visiting relatives. It was a wonderful dinner. The free Prickly Pears were great too!! Our server was awesome and the salmon belly tacos, sushi, lobster stir-fry and edamame were delicious. We’ll be back!

Anzu is always excellent. Every time we try a new dish we rave over not having had it before and let me tell you, the Caesar Salad is fabulous! We slit it and a 4 some sat next to us. We recommend the salad and they saw us at Feinstein later at raved about it. We love Anzu!

Excited to come and enjoy food with our friends for Easter gathering. First bite is dim sum not good at all and not even hot. Then move to sushi session selection is very limited and very slow. We asked if drinks are included they said yet but ended up paying $70 for 3 latte and 2 tea . Dessert is ok but overall is so so experience.

Started with specialty cocktails that were delicious (one gin based and one bourbon based). The tuna starter was delicious and buttery. The special pasta was amazing and will bring us back. Service was impeccable and professional!

The staff is amazing. They were very accommodating. We had trouble finding it because we didn’t realize it was in the hotel Nikko. At first I was skeptical, but the actual restaurant is very good.

Do not under any circumstances dine at Anzu. You will be doing you and your loved ones a favor by avoiding this place like the plague. They served me a plate of mashed potatoes so hot I got 3rd degree burns on my tongue and the inside of my mouth after waiting over 30 minutes to be served the first course. The burn was so bad I had to be treated by the resident doctor, and I was in so much pain during the show at Feinstein’s that I could barely concentrate. I suspect, but can’t prove, they waited so long to serve us that they knew we would miss the show if they took any longer, so they put the potatoes in the microwave and served them searing hot. I burned my tongue so badly that when they finally brought my entree I was unable to eat it and they had to take it back. Also, by then it was so late that we didn’t have time to eat dinner anyway.The woman next to us, who was a guest at the hotel, had waited so long for her dessert that she finally canceled her order and left. And she was not happy about this either. Is this mismanagement or what? At any rate the right thing to do would be to call and apologize, or at least check up on how I was doing, and maybe even offer us a free dinner the next time we came in. Instead, they never called despite my asking them multiple times, and then I was informed by middle management that I had been banned from the restaurant! And I was only informed of this exactly 2 minutes before my next reservation! I thought I was being so generous giving them a 2nd chance after my horrible experience. A manager actually took me into a back room and interrogated me before informing me that their decision to permanently ban me stood. And I still have not gotten a call from management -- only from 3rd parties. As I said, DO NOT eat here. I can’t believe they are still in business if they treat their customers like this. Kin Khao, Michelin-starred restaurant across the street, will do you right & their food is fantastic. Please go there instead.

Ambiance was lovely. Service was above and beyond. However, the food (or lack there of it) was not deserving of the price point. Portions were very small and lacking flavor. Many dishes needed salt. Happy for the dining experience but will not be returning.

We were there for valentines and we did the valentines special. When we arrived to our reservation we were asked to wait 20 minutes after which wasn’t a big deal. What was a big deal was a couple just came in without a reservation and demanded to get seated and have their food ordered and brought out immediately. They were severely short staffed. Our waitress was also the bartender for the whole restaurant. We had reservations at 7:30pm and we didn’t get to our main course until 9pm. It shouldn’t have taken this long when the appetizer was just half a quail egg and a salad. We were starving! And guess who got their meal before us…the couple without reservations.

I have dined at Anzu a number of times over the years and found it to be outstanding in every way. This time, for some reason, was not the same. Specifically the problem was the service. The timing of the courses was hit and miss, people promised to bring us things like our wine or sugar but never returned. In the end it was one of the managers who brought us our wine. I believe that the problem was probably due to a shortage of staff but I certainly hope that it is corrected before I come back.

We had a great dinner at Anzu! The staff and sushi chefs were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. The crudo sushi plate was fantastic and you can’t go wrong with any of the meals. We had the pork chops and the miso cod which were so good. The cheesecake was pretty tasty as well!

We have dined at Anzu for breakfast over the years. Every person from the wait staff to those who service the tables have been very warm, friendly and welcoming. The food is great and we always look forward to seeing everyone for our breakfast when it Hotel Nikko.

Staff was very nice but despite mentioning we needed to leave to meet friends downstairs at FEINSTEINS by 6, they were just serving dessert at 6:30. Portions wee rather small and time between courses rather long. I think normally this place is great, but very slow on a special occasion night (NYE) and oddly, they don’t seem to be able to coordinate timing well with showtimes at Feinsteins (one floor below) despite most patrons coming specifically for the show. I will say the pumpkin oannacotta was over baked and rather tough and chewy instead of soft and creamy. Maybe desserts are not their forte. The seafood was quite good though.

Had dinner before Feinstein’s show - they no longer validate for parking at the hotel. Different than last year. So after a $300 dinner and a $450 show with $150 of drinks……we had to pay $65 for parking. Absurd!
