    Best part of the dinner was the bread pudding. Warm and delicious. Escargot was odd tasting. Shrimp was lukewarm at best

    Amazing experience. The staff was phenomenal. Baked Alaska was such a fun dessert. Delicious oysters. LOVED the tour after dinner! A must do in NoLa!!

    Service was great! Salad and warm bread great! Everything else was awful. Fish and chicken dry. Their idea of baked Alaska was a joke. Certainly not worth the cost!

    The service was very good. The baked Alaska was delicious and everyone in our party agreed it was the best dish of our meal. The eggs sardou was disappointing. Don’t get it. The eggs were overcooked. The artichoke bottoms were completely tasteless and grey. There was no hollandaise sauce and a light smear of creamed spinach. The steaks weren’t seared and not cooked to temperature. The seafood omelette was missing seafood. The wagyu hamburger was meh. The spinach on the oysters Rockefeller tasted canned and sour. The charbroiled and Bienville oysters were overcooked. In the seafood duo appetizer the crabmeat ravigote was delicious, but the remoulade sauce on the shrimp was just cocktail sauce. The interior design of the front dining room was wonderful and the original elements have been carefully maintained. It’s disappointing that the food is such a poor example of classic New Orleans fine dining. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared, and cooked well is the minimum expectation for any fine dining restaurant in New Orleans. It would be great if Antoine’s could meet/exceed expectations.

    The salad dressing was really yummy and the asparagus bisque was amazing. My husband had the gumbo and he loved it! We also got the lamb and it was super tender and the vegetables were cooked perfectly! A wonderful place to celebrate our ten year anniversary!

    The only thing I didn’t like was told them that I was there to celebrate my mother’s bday. They didn’t even acknowledge it. Tht was kind of sad

    This is one of my “must go for dinner” in NOLA. Was disappointed with our waiter. He was very soft spoken and difficult to hear especially with the background noise and room acoustics. The main disappointment was they were out of baked Alaska. How do you run out of your signature desert?

    Please do not make the mistake of going HERE, it is sad how far this place has fallen. after the oysters and French onion soup that were "Crakerbarrel level" quality we were debating about spending another $200 on entrees, we decided to leave, went to Doris for great entrees and desserts. Yes we have been coming to New Orleans for 30 years.

    First timers it’s an experience and one of New Orleans oldest restaurants. For those who have been coming for years, the menu has changed and not as good as it used to be. More limited options and overall food was just OK.

    First seated in a very noisy dining room We asked for and moved to a slightly quieter room. Food was ok. Fish bones turn me off my food immediately. Nothing special for me here.

    I specifically chose Antione’s because we wanted to try the Baked Alaska, and it wasn’t available because the “one” person who could make it, called in sick that day. For the specialty dessert that Antione’s is known for, you’d think that more than one person could prepare it. We were quite disappointed.

    Seafood gumbo was excellent. The Asparagus soup was really, really good. Highly recommend it. Filet was perfectly cooked. Shrimp Creole was delicious, but shrimp had tails on. (My personal pet peeve). Service was excellent. Flaming coffee dessert was interesting. Quite the show. Coffee was spiced with quite a few items. Interesting to try. The bread pudding was very good. Highly recommend dinner at Antoine's.

    I had much higher expectation as it’s a NOLA “staple”. We were extremely disappointed with the food. The Pompano fish was dry, the spinach on the escargot took away any flavor, but the bread pudding was “good”. For the reputation, price, etc it was a wasted culinary experience in NOLA. I’d suggest looking elsewhere, and local have indicated this place has declined recently.

    The shrimp creole was probably the best shrimp dish I’ve ever had. The pecan bread pudding was amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

    We had a Heavenly time at Antoine’s. Antoine’s is our favorite restaurant. The $25 Lunch Special has returned! This is welcome news. Now we can bring more guests again . The entree is Soft Shell Crab ! Wow! With Asparagus and Onion Rice. Also Cream of Asparagus Soup and Bread Pudding . What a value! There are other choices, too that sound delicious. Our Servers , Burt and Latesha, were so attractive and charming . They even added tiny roses to our Mocktails! The atmosphere is so elegant .We all have plans to return . Bravo, Antoine’s!

    Truly expected a long wait on Mother’s Day even though we had reservations, but arrived on time, sat immediately in a lovely room, they said it was the Annex, beautiful ceilings and decor. Water and bread brought out quickly and tremendous service. The seafood gumbo and Baked Alaska were my favorites. The jazz band was also fun.

    Came for Mother’s Day brunch. The actual food was fantastic but it wasn’t brunch…it was a lunch/dinner prefix meal. Zero breakfast options which is why I’m only giving 4 stars. Brunch is breakfast + lunch and I expected some breakfast choices which were not available other than a Bloody Mary.

    I wanted to love Antoine's so much. I took my mom on Mother's Day and, while I understand that restaurants are very busy and booked on holidays, a restaurant of this level, with a fixed menu at this price point, I expected better. The biggest disappointment was our server. He was polite but had no personality and barely spoke to us at all - only what was required. I had to ask him to refill my glass when it was empty and I was really unhappy with the pressure he put on us to hurry up and order so they could move us out and get the next $400 lunch in. I also felt it was completely inappropriate that he cleared our basket of pastries and never bothered to ask if we wanted them boxed up. As it was, he tried to take our plates and we had to ask him to box them up, which appeared to be an imposition. The food, for the most part, was very good; however the baked Alaska was awful. You could tell that, due to the volume of visitors, they had them made in bulk and just sitting out. It didn't even have hot fudge in it as it states in the menu description! Also, the ice cream was melted - it was overall a fail. We enjoyed going to Antoine's as it is a destination in itself and the live musicians were wonderful. However, if I went back, I would definitely not do it on a holiday as they obviously expect the name to carry them over quality on days like that.

    My 1st time there. & it was wonderful. The service was attentive, food was delicious, employees were friendly. The parking situation was a challenge but overall a great experience. Highly recommend the bread pudding dessert. The pastries looked freshly made, red fish amandine was flavorful. Will go back again next time I’m in New Orleans

    We had the worst dining experience at Antoine’s. We were there last Saturday night to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. Our waiter, Charlie, was rude and condescending—I discovered similar comments about him in Google reviews as well. The service was terrible—-our plates were not cleared in between courses—we had to bus our own table to make room for the next courses. Our drinks were not refilled—-we had to continuously ask for more drinks. Our entrees arrived at different times—-3 people in our party never received theirs, and we had to ask for them—-they were brought to the table 45 minutes after 8 of us had received ours. One of the forgotten entrees (fish) was served frozen and was inedible. The two chicken dishes were dry and also inedible. They probably sat out under a warmer for a few hours. The manager acknowledged that Antoine’s got slammed with a large banquet that evening and that is why our service was lousy. That is no excuse. We paid for and therefore expected a fine dining experience but instead had the worst dining experience we have ever had. The manager did comp the two dried out, old, tough chicken dinners, as well as some drinks, and at the time that the compensation was offered, we didn’t realize that the late fish entree was frozen and inedible. We should not have had to pay for any of the debacle at Antoine’s. The evening was a waste of our time and money.

    We decided to celebrate Mother’s Day on Saturday afternoon with 3 generations of our family. The team at Antoine’s made everything about our meal special. The cocktails, oysters, salad, entrees, wine, dessert and coffee were all splendid. Nothing felt routine or tired. Each dish was meticulously prepared and delicious. Service was attentive and theatrical without being outlandish or intrusive. We loved the entire experience.

    We loved our Saturday brunch experience at Antoine’s. The oysters were cooked well, and they were huge (for context, we live on the Gulf Coast/beach generally don’t see oysters of this size). The blueberry blintzes were appropriately sized to be an appetizer and delicious. Our entrées were delicious: shrimp and grits, Pompano Ponchartrain, and Pain Perdu (French toast). Living on the Gulf Coast, We eat shrimp and grits often, and many takes on the classic dish; however, Antoine’s mastered keeping the dish rich and light with the perfect amount of grits. The shrimp and pompano were both cooked to perfection and not overdone. We ended our meal with Baked Alaska. It took a bit longer than we or our waiters expected, but they were very hospitable and kept us informed. It was worth the wait, and the staff was kind enough to decorate the dessert for my birthday and include a birthday candle. Thank you to Brian and Bryce for taking care of us and ensuring our family’s experience was of the highest quality and elegance without the stuffiness. Our seven-year-old daughter loved the elegant dining experience, and we appreciate Brian and Bryce for making her feel like royalty yet comfortable. There’s no doubt we will return again and again.

    Antoine’s certainly lived up to their reputation. Excellent service, food, and amazing dessert. Oyster Rockefeller was best appetizer in New Orleans. I will be returning soon.

    I had not been to this New Orleans classic in 45 years and had heard it’s had its ups and downs, but it did not disappoint. Service was professional and attentive, and our food was delicious. The escargot appetizer and our entrees of shrimp Creole, redfish and pompano Pontchartain were absolutely delicious. It will not take this long to come back to this New Orleans institution.
